Food was very good. I had the chicken fingers, fries, and a side salad with ranch. The tenders tasted wonderful and were cooked... to perfection, the fries were the best I've had in a while, and the ranch dressing was amazing! Read more

The Pros: Excellent, friendly, prompt service. The place is clean, the bathroom was spotless and smelled good. They offer... breakfast all day and have a big menu. All the food I had there tasted good and seemed fresh. Their tea is great as is theircornbread. The Cons: Don't expect to pick the "Daily" offering from the menu and be able to get it. The first time I orderedmeat loaf, which was excellent, but today I ordered stuffed bell peppers (Monday special), but they didn't have it. I wasforced to order chicken and dumplings. I've had Chicken and Dumplings many times, this was the first time it came as a giantbowl of chicken and dumpling soup. When I order chicken and dumplings, I'm definitely not expecting soup. The taste was good,but the largest dumpling was the size of a quarter. In my experience, dumplings are, well, dumplings and the chicken comes inchunks. I had the mac & cheese both times. Both times the "cheese" part wasn't cheese at all. It was more like Mac withcheesy liquid. I guess it comes down to expecting one thing, and getting something else. Finally, they don't have butter atall, only margarine, which is always an unhealthy choice. Despite these shortcomings, the food did taste good. It would benice though, if the menu were accurate and the food were less "soupy." Read more
Excellent service! Our waitress was excellent as well as our meal. The food was fresh and the portions were excellent for the... price. We have eaten at this location for many years and the food and staff has always been wonderful. Not super fancy. A greatlittle place to get a home cooked meal in a family style environment for locals in the area! Read more
