Interesting idea, just not enough of the selection I'd hoped for. I pulled one pilsner and left. Nothing else on the board was... overly interesting. Plus, they default to 18% tip but you pull your own beers. What are you tipping for? Clean glasses? Read more

Pretty good beer selection and love the addition of the board games. Came here early on a Friday (4-5pm) and it was pretty open,... but that was perfect for having two young kids. We had our own corner and they got to play the games. Read more

The staff was very pleasant. But this concept is for people who want to learn an entirely new paradigm for drinking out, and are... happy to do all the work themselves. This isn't why I go out. I don't want to learn how to pour my own beers, and certainlydon't want to pay for beer that didn't make it into the glass. I don't want to learn a whole new system, carry around a card, and navigate and fuss with new technology, that although the owner says is exact, clearly isn't from my experience and those ofothers I'm reading above. First time back here tonight since Halloween 2020. The atmosphere has changed a ton in that time. Lots of good drink options, it... also seemed like there were more cost friendly options which is a huge plus with things being the way they are right now.Disappointed that half of the drinks I tried to get were tapped out and the band was very loud for how small of a space they'rein but it was a nice change of pace. Grateful for the blonde girl with glasses at the door who urged me not to pre-pay too muchlike I had planned to as we spent less than half of what I thought we would. Read more

This is a very cool place to try with a great atmosphere and an interesting concept. What kills it, is the cost, as the prices... for the self-serve drinks are very high. When you walk in, you are explained how things work, by the staff, which allows patronsto self-pour their own drinks (beer, lager, stout, mead, cider, wine, and others). And then you are left to your own devices, although they do have staff available to explain the different drink options available. It sort of works like a self-serveyogurt shop, but instead of charging by the weight, they charge by the ounce. It looks like it would be a great place to go witha large group of people, as they offer several long tables at where groups may socialize. They are also experimenting with theboard game concept, which I have seen in some other cities, although they are just getting started. The big detraction, is theprice. I tried three or four different drinks, and each ran between $7-$8 to fill up my glass about halfway, or between 6 and 7ounces. The measuring system is somewhat flawed, as it counts the initial foam from the tap as "ounces", regardless of how muchyou tilt your glass. This makes it very challenging to sample different beverages, since it is much more affordable to fill yourglass with a single drink, instead of trying several. (I learned this lesson the hard way, as my second drink, which was mostlyfoam, registered at 7 oz., although once settled, was roughly only a quarter of the glass.) It is an interesting concept, and Ido think it is a place to try, although I couldn't see myself going there regularly. Read more
