If you like authentic people, good fresh food, and a relaxed atmosphere, you will love this place. The menu is filled with... options that are unique combinations. For example I got a bacon cheeseburger with macaroni and cheese on it and it came with aside of seasoned french fries. Absolutely everything about this burger was good. It was all fresh and just the right amount.Don't get me wrong it was a big hamburger and it had a lot of bacon and a lot of mac and cheese. But who wouldn't like a lot ofthose. The people here are very frank and have somewhat of a wry sense of humor. I loved it. It was refreshing and relaxing. Wesat outside to eat and felt like we could talk about anything we wanted to. It may be a little bit off the beaten path but ifyou make the trip you won't regret it. Read more

Though I thought initially that the prices were pretty high for a roadside diner, this restaurant delivered on quality and... quantity. They did overcook my burger, but it was still delicious. I usually eat all of my food when I go out, but the amount offood you get for the amount that you pay is phenomenal and it was just too much (in a good way). If you do go, I would recommendthe loaded fries. Read more

With a name like Fat Boys, one would expect XL-sized sandwiches, burritos and more, and they did not disappoint. My husband... loves their oversized burritos and street tacos, but today we decided to try the burgers and fish sandwich. Mine was a flaky andlight fried cod with cheese served on a multi-grain roll. What made the sandwich is the delicious southwest sauce that came onthe side. My husband's bacon cheeseburger came in with heft and 2 patties. The meat had great flavor, although he said the bunwas a bit too much bun for his taste. The size of my granddaughter's kids bacon cheeseburger would have kept any adult full. Sheopted for onion rings and pronounced them great. The atmosphere has a southwest vibe with brightly colored paintings and tables. It is locally owned with very personable staff. If you go, we recommend the street tacos and burritos first. They havevegetarian and vegan options too. Update: since we last visited, Fat Boy's has added a large uncovered deck to the exterior andbooths to the interior, significantly expanding their seating capacity. Read more
