Stopped in on a Saturday night after a Red Wolves game. We were a party of eight, only took a few minutes for them to seat us.... Server was great, got our drink orders right away and our food orders when drinks were brought out. Great atmosphere foreating, drinking, and being with friends. The chicken tenders basket was good, the chicken was super crunchy outside and tenderand juicy inside. The fries were delicious too, as well as the Champy?s sauce. Will definitely return! Stopped in and to check it out! Service was best ever, zero complaints! The food was good, taste, presentation and flavor was... excellent. Our drinks were filled and never empty. Only complaint I had or our tables had was the servings of the sides. Theywere not much more than a 1/4 of a cup. I beleive the servings should be looked at or just order extra if you need to, butprepare to spend a little more to get the side amount you usually look for. Read more

The sign out front says World Famous Fried Chicken and I can see why!! It had the best most flavorful crust and the Chicken... itself was so tender and juicy. They push the Champy sauce but honestly it doesn't really need it because it's just that good!!The Mrs and I both had the 2 piece white meat Chicken plate with baked beans(delicious) and slaw!! The ambience of the place waspure honky tonk and the waitresses were dressed in Daisy Duke's but they were on it, checking up to see how your meal was akeeping your glasses filled!! Read more

Went in on a Friday night around 10. Service was extremely poor even though it wasn?t busy, portions could?ve been bigger... considering the prices. The kids loved their chicken sandwiches. The fried chicken was just as good as I?ve had at any friedchicken joint. I don?t regret going but I probably wouldn?t return. One of the best fried chicken places in the south! We were visiting Tennessee from Michigan and had to stop at Champy's. Our... waitress was so sweet and full of southern hospitality. Our food was hot, fresh and huge portions. My husband loved their sweettea. Their fried chicken livers are some of the best we have ever had. The tamales were okay, but I'm glad we triedthem. Definitely check them out if you are in the area and make sure you go there hungry. Read more
