I ordered from Door dash Twelve pieces of our famous batter dipped fish, twelve crispy butterfly shrimp, three seafood stuffed... crab shells, twelve hush puppies and your choice of two family-style sides. Which was cold slaw and 24 hush puppies. I didn'treceive any thing else. I received cold and hard fish. No twelve crispy butterfly shrimp, no three seafood stuffed crab shells,no twelve hush puppies, no family-style sides. Which was cold slaw and 24 hush puppies. This is not the first time. The service of lady taken my order was very bad behavior, we disagreed on item, she talk to me very disrespectful,, how was I to... no sides orders had changed in price, she got upset explaining different side orders prices, this second time on 23rd streetthis, Norwood lady has talk to me very disrespectful, Don't no who manager is, but she need to be reported,,, I've lately don'twant to go there, but only one close to down town area. Went today and got a #9 on board in drive thru which is 4 pieces of fish combo my sides were slaw and loaded baked potato they... were out of butter I was ok with that. Get to window (manager) started to be rude to after she gave my drink a large tea.. Itried to tell her my sauces she shut window came back to window about 5 minutes later with food asked my sauces I told her.. Icheck my food she rang up a #4 a chicken and 2pc fish meal . I go in apologize and tell her I wanted #9 and brought money to paydifference she ask the guy for the 2 fish and proceeds to say I don?t know how a #4 is a #9 I said ok I said 9 she says Nallit?s a #4 you wanted I said on the board it?s a #9 but ok do you want this chicken back walks off being smart and say no.. Ishould have gotten a refund and left I go check the board and just like I said I was correct. Manager needs to listen n stopeating in drive thru with customers at window and is very rude to keep tryna have I? ll keep eating at hwy 58 location I barelyever eat at this one anyways by the way my 2 fish she gave were not fresh like my others they were dry with black stuff fromgrease on them.. Loved the statues at the fountain, lions, horses, elephants and turtles. Such a surprise to find the fully functional carousel.... Asked the attendant if they had any printed material concerning the history of the carousel. To my delight it was not a trifoldbrochure, but a beautifully illustrated book with pictures of all of the animals and benches, and information about the carversand painters. Loved the walk across the pedestrian bridge, and the river walk. The paddle boat on the river was so nostalgic,and we got to go inside to look around. So much history here. Don't pass this area by, it's great on a beautiful day like theone we had. Read more

Worst experience ever! I love Captain D's and eat here often. They were out of a lot foods and sauces. The new manager, Lawrence... was not accomodating and unwilling to help me with a coupon issue. He would not even apply a manager credit to my order. I toldhim I would call corporate, he said to me, "Ok that's fine my name is Lawrence...the line is backed up. Did you want the food ornot? ". He treated me like a bother instead of a customer he needed to please. I took the food and got home only to discover mybaked fish was partially raw and my tartar sauce that I had to beg for was all over my boxes. I am completely shocked by thisexperience! I have been eating here for almost 20 years and this was my first job!I can truly say, there was never this kind ofservice under the direction of former manager, Terry. I hope that Captain D's gets back to normal. Read more
