It's a lovely place, but good luck trying to book any events. I've been trying since the end of August to book my wedding here,... and all I got was a lack of communication from the event coordinator, barely believable excuses for said lack of communication, and then getting brushed off when I expressed my concern. Events aren't terribly expensive, but the prices are high enough thatI'd expect some actual communication without lame excuses. Definitely will be taking our wedding elsewhere. Thanks for nothing. Beautiful place, it has a few attractions around it.
Small part of downtown with an European vibe, near the Art Museum. You need a permit to take photos. There are quite a few shops... and restaurants. Most parking is paid, although the bridge has 2 hour free parking. Not every part is dog friendly but thesidewalks are pet friendly, some of the shops even leave water bowls out for your pup. Beautiful old world style place to walk, sightsee, eat, look at art, shop, have a coffee, see a beautiful river, catch a sunset... (or sunrise), and stay a night, ...and the view of Chattanooga's bridges.. wow! The list goes on & on. One of my favorite placesin Chattanooga. Whether you are a visitor or a local, ya gotta experience it. Lovely. Read more
The Art district is really pretty. It smells really nice, and houses really great restaurants that charge way too much money for... everything. Good place, just make sure you're rich before you come here. Read more
