Great vibe and artwork here. The food was good. Not a ton of options for vegan or vegetarian folks though. I had the General Tso... taco. At first I thought it?d be a weird taco but it was good. The plant based chicken was alarmingly real looking and tasting. My husband assured me it wasn?t real. One taco was enough for a light dinner. Two would be perfect if you?re really hungry. Read more

We came here in hopes of a great meal/experience sadly, that was not the case. There were plenty of nice tables, well lit and... open. We were sat at a dimly lit wobbly table right by the kitchen(?) exit. Every 2 minutes someone would come by announcing,?corner.? It took a long time for the waitress to come to our table. Finally the waitress came after almost getting up to askfor service. We ordered everything as we already knew what we wanted. It took a while to get drinks but luckily our food wasserved by someone else or it might have been ice cold. The food is what saved this from a 1 star review. The tacos were actuallyreally good although very overpriced. Expect a large portion of the cheap toppings and very little of the meat. Taco in pictureis a $13 taco. Hard not to think that the service was due to us being dressed down (comfortable clothing for a 7 hour drivethat we just finished). Read more

Our friends recommended this place. Cool environment downtown near the river and uniquely decorated. The noise level is high,... and we had a hard time conversing. The entrance is around the corner via sidewalk, on Chestnut. The lo-mein vegan tacos weordered tasted ok, but the rice had a doughy consistency. Not sure if that was intentional or poor cooking. The enchilada wasgood and tasted more like stuffed pasta to me. The chips and salsa were excellent. Our server seemed MIA a lot of the time. Also, for the enchiladas, it would?ve been nice to know that the vegan chicken add-on comes as four big nuggets and is notintegrated into the filling or scattered over the sauce. We dined here on a Friday evening and it was extremely busy. Despite that our server who name, I believe was Sherrilita was... amazing!!!!!! She was knowledgeable about the menu, answering all our questions about the items on the menu in great detail. Shemoved with a sense of urgency, but was patient with each interaction. I wasn't really in the mood for tacos so the mac 'n cheesewith a chicken finger on it taco wasn't "hitting" like it probably should have. The prices are a little expensive at around $7per taco, but to be fair you are getting a good amount of food on each one. Overall the experience was great and I will returnto give another try when I am in the mood for some tacos. Read more

We were in town for one night and decided to give Agave & Rye a try based on their online reviews. Unfortunately there was an... hour wait for a table (we were a large group). The servers assigned to our table were very attentive and quick to take ourorders. After we were finished everyone agreed that the food was absolutely delicious and the hour wait was well worthit. Needless to say, we will be back next time we are in town again... Read more
