We have been eating here since coming to Chatham almost 3 years ago. I'm not sure what on earth is happening here recently, but... the kitchen is off it's game (and wondering what management is doing about this - given the other reviews I've just read). About2 months ago, we ordered pulled pork sandwiches and salads for lunch. They were inedible. Tough, greasy and green salads werejust a pile finely shaved lettuce (no carrots, cabbage, tomatoes as is the normal house salad). We called and offered a refund.Two weeks ago, we called to order take out and were told no more orders were being taken because the kitchen was too hot.What??? This is an air conditioned facility, so what is happening? Last week we called to order pulled pork (Friday at 5PM).She took the order then called back to say she had not been told, but they were sold out of pulled pork. We considered ouralternatives on the menu and choose broaster chicken. Were told that there was no boaster chicken at present. Oh boy ... ordered10 piece perch, and were told (for $25) it came with NO sides! I asked her to check with the kitchen and she came back with,yes ... sides were coleslaw and fries. It took 3 calls and a LOT of time on the phone figuring out what we would have to dinner.Only good news in this tale of woe was that the perch, salad and coleslaw were all excellent. Come on management ... we stuckwith you through the pandemic. Things are slipping big time ... we are your neighbors and want to continue to patronize yourbusiness, but not if you can't get this fixed. Read more
Stopped in for lunch today with coworkers. I ordered the burger and was glad I did. I'm pretty picky when it comes to burgers... but Southside did not disappoint. Made in house and cooked perfectly... and I mean perfectly. Can't wait to visit again, I willbe ordering another next time. Staff were friendly as well. Read more
