Popped in for lunch when they were running their thanksgiving specials & tried this thanksgiving sandwich. I was loaded with all... things thanksgiving & came with a side of delicious turkey gravy. The portions were huge & it was soooo delicious! This was ourfirst time eating here & we were pleasantly surprised with it! They have a decent menu with so many options & the restaurant isjust beautiful. Food 1/5, Service 2/5. Should of went to McDonald's I Guess. Ive never seen a restaurant with so much staff walking around... aimlessly, and repeatedly wiping tables to look like they are doing something. I had the most generic meal and it just tastedweird, so weird I couldnt even get through a second bite. Read more
I ordered the full rack of ribs mashed potatoes and it came with a hot cake and coleslaw. The ribs really just fell off the bone... and was absolutely delicious. I will definitely come back again Read more
I was really excited to come here for a live music night, but it turned out to be a huge disappointment. We knew the band and... were excited to support them, but the whole experience was a let down. The server was not aware of what was and was notavailable on the menu and did not know the specials for the night. We ordered nachos, and they were good, but although thetable was set for 2, there was only 1 side plate. Not a big deal, but a slight annoyance. I ordered a bottle of wine becauseit was cheaper than 3 glasses, but at the end of the night I found out that because they are associated with the casino, was wasnot allowed to take the remainder with me. The manager did a solid and only charged for what I drank, but a little servertraining would have prevented the situation in the first place. The food was not good. I had a NY steak and my date had theclub sandwich. The NY, well cooked to the rare that I asked for, was completely flavourless. It was like chewing a wet cloth. I asked for steak sauce, and was given HP. I like HP, but I associate it with a steak and eggs breakfast more than a suppersteak. A1 or 57 sauce would have been a better choice. The veg was good. I really enjoyed the flavours and it was cookedquite well. The potatoes on the other hand tasted like they came out of a package. Not good. The club sandwich was not aclub, it did not have a middle layer, it was just a chicken sandwich. I’m told it was alright, but nothing special. Therewas a single, thick piece of cheese in the centre that was I kind of odd. I would have expected thinner slices, spread over thesandwich, but whatever. Lastly, while the band seemed to play well, we could not hear them clearly because the sound system wasvery distorted. The instruments were very loud, while the vocals were quite muted. Went to the match with some friends& my husband to have some drinks .2-: told that we were “limited to drinks” but was... pouring drinks like every 5 minutes for the group of younger men and woman at the bar. and then when the server came back myhusband had asked for another drink and the waitress told us no. And told us that we were “cut off” also wouldn’t bring usa manager. The chicken burger was burnt. And horrible service. My fella and I stopped in for what we consider THE best whiskey sour in town. We arrived at around 930pm and chatted with some... friends for about 20 min. I had to go to the bar to order because not a single server approached us to take our drink order. Ithen stood at the bar for another 5 min while the service manager and the bartender finished their conversation and finallyplaced my order. The bartender returned a few minutes later and asked if we had a server and when I told her that no one hadcome around, she made it very clear that she was inconvenienced having to bring our whiskey sours three feet from her perch atthe bar, and that she needed the $23 bucks immediately. I oblige and we are finally enjoying our drinks! They were delicious,and after enjoying the live music and chatting up our friends for a bit longer, we decided to wander out to the patio and orderanother drink and maybe something to nibble on. We had a generous tip from our catering gig hours before and wanted to celebrateand treat ourselves. Instead, we sat on the patio from 10:15-ish with two empty drink glasses in front of us with NO serviceuntil exactly 10:45 when I lost patience after making eye contact with the service manager as she left the floor and waving atthe server who was too busy or too bothered to notice. We stopped at the gas station on the way home and bought nachos instead.Absolutely horrible service, and when I brought our empty glasses up to the bartender and made a comment about waiting AGAIN forsomeone to help us, she didn't care and shrugged it off. Absolutely love the patio and the fare, but the service on a not verybusy night is horrible! You would think a well-established casino bar would be on top of it at all times. Won't run back there again very disappointed. I met a group of girls on the 1st of December I ordered a crown royal and diet... coke couldn't even taste the whiskey and it was served in a small glass, I should of tasted the whiskey if they had of added afull jigger unless they water it down, the price was too much for what I got. My sister in law ordered the pinot grigio she saidit was horrible, she sent it back. There were others that agreed that ordered the same but did not send it back since we were ona time schedule. For my meal I ordered the blackened chicken ceasar salad chicken was cold realized after I did not receive mygarlic loaf, only thing they did right was serve the dressing on the side. Waitress was good did not have time send the foodback. Then they added an 18% gratuity for a very disappointing experience. ???? Read more
