Reviews for Wild Goose Tavern in Chatham, MA
We enjoyed dinner and the friendly welcoming staff. Food was very delicious and sitting outside on the terrace was good.
We went here for lunch today and it was great- the perfect relaxing moment in a day of shopping and browsing. My husband and I... enjoyed a cocktail and some appetizers and our son enjoyed Kraft Mac and cheese. It was a win for everyone. Our entrees wereamazing - my husband?s power bowl was delicious and my Mac and cheese without bacon was great too. Even the French fries for ourson were great. They had true cutest kids cup with fish on it for our sons water. The Brussel sprouts appetizer was amazing butso wasn?t the bread and honey butter side. Really not sure which I would pick over the other. If I am ever in Chatham I woulddefinitely come back for lunch or for dinner. Great for vegetarians! Read more
Susannah is not pleasant. Food has gone downhill from our last visit. Salmon was dry and hard on salad. Steak flatbread was... gross. Bluefish dip was okay. So slow and poor service. Still left 18% tip. Poor server was overwhelmed. Read more
I called before arriving to make a reservation and was told I did not need to make one, and in fact they were not taking... reservations. When we arrived we were given a 30 minute wait despite the open tables. When I asked my friend if we wanted towait, the host decided to comment on my private conversation in a rude tone. However our server Gavin was amazing. Best personever. His service was excellent. I feel bad he has to deal with this management. I believe it shows his character that he hasn?tquit yet. Food is overpriced but good. Read more
Great food and ambience located in the downtown. They have beautiful outdoor seating on the front porch and back. We tried fish... and chips and the flatbread which were delicious. Read more
Reservations are very wise. We didn't have them so waited 40 min in the small bar. Good infusions and great personalities behind... the bar as well as waitstaff with a great sense of humor. Food is spot on and desserts excellent too. Perfect front porchdining. Read more
We enjoyed our meal at Wild Goose, the drinks made by the bartender were very good. The atmosphere is pretty good here and that... makes up a big part of the experience, the food was solid but I wanted a little more flair, some sauce or seasonings with someof the components, a whole head of broccoli steamed in a plate was a little plain. The Crabby Salmon was very good, they nailedthe main proteins. I just couldn't help feel like I had just eaten at a 200 seat wedding. I'm coming back for a dirty martinithough. Read more
