This little Italian restaurant is hidden in the backwoods of the Vista golf club in Kahnawake. It was a pleasant surprise... serving an appropriately delicious selection of food. Me and friends visited Montreal for the first time and we decided to pick this based on the percentage recommendation match with... my profile. It was lovely, the servers were very lovely. They were bilingual. Everyone's meal was great and well spiced. I havethe Rosè pasta meal and a really nice drink I so r remember the name. Overall a good experience. Read more
Hi, I would like to share my experience at Lavista Ristorante. I went with my husband and another couple for dinner. I was told... the dinner menu recently came out and it gave a wide variety of choices for Italian cuisine which I was very happy about. Iordered the veal marsala which was delicious, the sauce and veal was cooked perfect. Definitely my favourite meal! My husbandordered the prime rib and wow it looked amazing, he mentioned it was cooked perfectly and the au jus sauce topped it offdeliciously. The service was fast and cheerful even with other big reservations there. We ordered a pitcher of sangria and itwas so colourful and easy just to my liking. The esthetics of the restaurant is beautiful. i can definitely see this placegrowing quick as we don?t have much choice for Italian cuisine in Chateauguay. Pre COVID this used to be my favourite restaurant. I would travel 30 minutes out of my way just to eat their Friday buffet. The... large wood beams and open space is always impressive. Most recently we went back for dinner. The place was totally empty! Ourwaiter mentioned the head chef has changed. In hindsight we now know why the place was empty. Kids no longer eat free! We weresurprised as their website still mentions this. They should change this on their site. The food quality has definitely gonedown. The blackened salmon was tasteless and overcooked. Prime rib portion size was too small. Kids meals were nothing special. The dessert was the best part of the meal. Unfortunately I don?t have a pic of the cake as it was devoured too quickly. I was really impress with the interior design when I first got in. It's not what you would expect from a Golf course's club... house. La Vista is definitely a Restaurant of it's own. The food was also amazing, we got the fried calamari and the antipastiplatter to share. Both plates we're intelligently executed and beautifully plated. We will go back soon ! Read more
