While on an east coast cruise we stopped in Charlottetown & I was craving something sweet. We discovered Gaia?s by chance and... we?re so pleased. Located on Queen Street the place is really bright & light with a dessert counter in front of the kitchen. Weopted for their chocolate cake & a chocolate chip cookie & it was delicious. The perfect vegan snack. Read more

this summer while visiting PEI, i was so happy to find a restaurant with so many great vegan options, as a lactose free... vegetarian. even other members of my family who aren?t vegetarian ordered food from here and loved it! i ordered the dragon bowland it was absolutely delicious. their tofu is very well cooked, and their homemade kimchi is super flavourful. the only issuesi had where that my avocado was very hard, to the point of not eating it, but compared with how delicious the rest of the wholebowl was i am not complaining, and that their was quite a wait time. i did not mind that much, i just wish they had advised usit would be a 20 minute wait when we ordered so i could come back, because we ordered it to go. but all together this place isgreat, and next time i am in PEI i will sure to come back! What a treat!\n\nI was in Charlottetown for less than 24 hours and ended up eating here twice in that span.\n\nI had arrived... late and needed some comfort food on the first go so I asked for the chef\'s recommendation. He did not disappoint with thepulled mushroom burger. This was one of the best burgers I\'ve had. Made with shredded king oyster mushrooms and lots of savorysauce on a fluffy bun, this hit the spot.\n\nAs I was leaving the next day, I opted to grab a quick bite before heading on theroad so I was looking for something a little lighter and went with the Mexican bowl. This bowl was filled to the brim withflavour.\n\nI can\'t state this enough: this is a can\'t miss spot when in Charlottetown.\n\nI had a chat with the folks thereand they have been open for less than a year (they opened during a pandemic ????) and have been doing well since. They work hardand have been getting their products locally so they are super fresh and tasty. They make almost everything in house (except forthe vegan cheese) without resorting to frozen or prepackaged food which you can tell as soon as you take your first bite.\n\nDoyourself a favour and go enjoy some great food. Really good hot foods- like their vegan poutine, a bit pricey but good for a once in a while treat. I would not recommend the... to-go refrigerated things like their salad as it does not taste very good. Staff are very nice though and good to see morevegan/vegetarian options in PEI. Read more

We stopped for lunch in this vegetarian restaurant in Charlottetown and the food was great! The location is very good, right in... the middle of the town. Most of the menu is vegan or can be made vegan/plant-based. We shared a vegan pizza and poutine it wasdelicious! They even give us a rice rolls, first time for us, it was also very good. This place opened not so long ago and it?sworth a try even if you are not vegan. There?s so many things and the menu, wish we could taste it all, can?t wait to come backone day! ???? thanks again!\n\nSay hello on IG: @LaptopVagabonds Read more
