We chose this place for breakfast because they had listed on the flyer that you can get vegan but all my daughter was able to... get from the menu was potatoes. It was good but not many choices on the little island. Funny enough the one place she had adecent meal was at the seafood restaurant, the Warf, and she enjoyed it. Read more
I am writing this review on my forth visit at the cafe. I have been coming here to study for hours for a change in environment... and good coffee, but today I decided to have the Pan-Seared Salmon for dinner. It was a great healthy, balanced dish that had agreat variety of vegetables, flavours and colour. The salmon was fresh seared to perfection. The vegetables were cooked gentlyand had great flavour. My plate was cleaned. Though it is on the pricier side, I think the dish is worth having. Overall, Ifound the food to be excellent, a comfortable modern environment to be in, the customer service was kind and the wait times werenot an issue for me. A charming interior, a nice and clean looking atmosphere. This looks like a great place to have a nice breakfast. The waitress... was friendly and sat me down fairly quickly, mind you there was maybe 4 customers inside. I ordered the veggie omelete with aCafe mocha drink. The mocha was perfect. It was everything I hoped for and more. But when it came to the omelete I wasn'timpressed. Everything needs some seasoning. My 4 pieces of toast, the 2 inside ones were burnt and the omelete itself wasovercooked and needed some seasoning. Good thing a salt shaker was nearby. The potatoes didn't taste fresh, there was nocrispiness to them at all. It's like it was cooked earlier and reheated. You can't tell me they were cooked fresh, because Iknow what the texture should taste like. It's just like the day old potatoes I heat up at home. I didn't try any pastries butthey do look quite nice in the photos. Read more
