The drive thru makes my day so much easier and the app is easy to navigate. Points earned help defray some of the cost.
The good reviews has to be for one of the other locations off 29. At least four out of the five times I've tried to go to this... location this month they were closed (during their regular business hours). This last time, it was almost 7:00 a.m. with noanswer from the drive-thru window even though there were people inside, so the whole drive-thru line just left. Word of advice,if you're in a rush, there are two other locations off this stretch of road, do yourself a favor and go to one of the otherones. Read more
I?m super confused with how this location gets such good reviews. I?ve never seen a slower Starbucks drive-through. I?ve been to... this location several times now and always have to wait at least 15 minutes in line. When I do get to the window I have to waitanother 5 minutes for my order. One day I only had one car in front of me and it still took way too long. Aside from that Idon?t feel like the staff is very customer service oriented either. It?s one thing to make someone wait a long time for aservice/product. It?s another thing to not apologize or even be nice to the customer when they get to the window. It?s justweird and unlike any other Starbucks I?ve been to. The Starbucks next to Harris Teeter is much better if you?re heading thatway anyway. It?s also easier to get to. Read more
I went at 2:30 this afternoon and my drink was very sloppy. The worker also had a very stank and nasty attitude. The drinks... were incomplete as well. I usually don?t have a problem here but maybe new staff didn?t take their CBT?s? Read more

Update: I'm changing my review again to five stars. Starbucks now has a prominent sign requiring masks consistent with the... Virginia state mandate. National and local leadership listened to me and others and have acted with socialresponsibility. Previous post: Starbucks is now displaying a sign at their entrance requesting that customers wear a mask. Thisis a great improvement over their previous barely visible display. Because they have improved socially responsibility, I amincreasing my rating and will purchase items again. To those age 18 - 35 and prime Starbucks customers, I implore you to wearmasks, which reduce transmission of corona virus by 70%. When you wear a mask, you are showing you care about grandparents,people with heart and lung conditions, and people going through cancer treatment. Poor management at this location! Very long wait, out of flavoring for drinks, some employees always look miserable and are not... friendly, employees running around but not working, employees arguing, and wrong orders. These are the norm. Very sub-standard.With a Starbucks every few miles, do yourself a favor and bypass this one unless you have time for the headache. Read more
