My favorite pho place in Charlottesville. Portions are huge, atmosphere is relaxing, drinks are always good.. no complaints. We... are regular customers and actually going to grab a bowl this afternoon. If you're looking for a full stomach on a cold day andsomething warm and full of tasty fresh ingredients ... this is the place to go! Don't focus on the negative reviews, always givesomething a try first! My friends I've brought with me loved it also. Update 5/3/2022 - Since new ownership my only complaint isthe don’t serve cabbage with the pho anymore and the service could be better. The pho is still delicious and portions areamazing! I’m not a huge fan of any of the other foods the offer other than the pho and neither was my husband. I haven’tbeen back though since they switched ownership in the very beginning so I’m not sure if things have improved. I have orderedtakeout and always been satisfied regardless ????. Read more
Really bad customer service. We ordered thai tea but what happens we got our food but the server forgot to give us tea. Like... how come you eat without water or drink. They evn never give us water to drink. The food tasted really bad.we wanted to ordersomething but as soon as you get your food they will give you check.it’s really bad.we spend more than $60 but not get goodfood or good customer service. The most disappointing Pho I have ever had in my life. The broth was lacking in taste to support the dish and their use of... artificial crabmeat was a great disappointment. Sad to see a delight dish reduced to the use of cheap substitute foods.Shortcuts is their biggest failure of a satisfying comfort food on a cold day. Read more
Delicious! I love their meatball and rare steak pho. I would recommend this restaurant for Date nights???? or any occasion where... you're seeking a fulfilling yet tasty meal. Fresh ingredients thoughtfully prepared and presented makes for a delicious experience. Had it twice in 4days! Shrimp pho both... times, once to go. Yeah its 100 degrees out and I'm slurping on spicy soup but hey thats what central AC is for. I added anavocado I had laying around, a tasty addition. Read more
Update - 6/29 Apparently this place have new owner sooooo I decide to give it another shot. The food we ordered is NOT... Vietnamese authentic food! I had their ph? before and every time it is disappointing. I went with safe order, rice withgrilled pork. Well… it is not the same as I had before. I had questions about the food and the server cannot answer. Iasked if there are Vietnamese people I can talk to and there are not. Found out the new owner is Burmese and it appears theirfood is more like Myanmar style. Definitely will not be back. Third times back, while their Ph? can improve, their wings andrice pork chops are phenomenal! We ordered the combination ph? and it still lacks the authenticity of Vietnamese flavor. Read more
Second best pho I have ever had besides phubs in maryland, even better than what I can make myself. Have had both the shrimp... pho and the vegetarian tofu pho. Definitely prefer the shrimp pho to the vegetarian, but both were pretty amazing. I wouldrecommend replacing the imitation crab meat with shiitake mushroom and spinach in the shrimp pho. The vegetarian was prettymuch perfect, can always just add more veggies. The restaurant is the cleanest I have ever been in by far. The service is superfast and super nice. If you are looking for pho near charlottesville or ruckersville, this is absolutely the place to go. Phois just not as good when you order pickup, so I would strongly recommend going in person and having a great meal and leave agreat tip! If you want to order a bahn mi or spring rolls it's good, and if you live only a few minutes away to go is okay, butif it's more than 10 minutes come in and sit down and enjoy the super clean place and the amazing pho. The $1 more for the largeis always worth it in my opinion. Anyways, I'll be coming here anytime I need pho while living in charlottesville. Read more
