One of my top spots to get breakfast and coffee in Charlottesville. I usually get a croissant with sausage, cheddar and egg... along with a cappuccino. What's important to me in shop that sells coffee is consistency and their cappuccino is consistencygood! The line gets long Saturday mornings due to its proximity to the City Market, so be aware that you may not find a seatinside. However, if you go weekday morning, I'm sure you'll find a table. Super cute little cafe with delicious coffee, amazing pastries, and perfect breakfast sandwiches. I?m picky about my eggs and... these were light and fluffy, not a flake of brown, and gently seasoned on a delicious croissant. Busy, but we were able to snaga table and enjoy our breakfast. Read more

Everything was amazing food wise. My experience inside the restaurant was a little disappointing. It was early and I had my 5... year old with me. We couldn?t find a table so I ordered to go. As I was waiting I noticed a young man staring at me. He didn?thave coffee or food, smelled, and looked to be homeless. Each time I looked over he was staring with an odd expression on hisface like he was enjoying himself making me clearly uncomfortable. Part of me wanted to buy him a coffee but the otherprotective part told me there was something mentally wrong with him. I?m not sure why he was allowed to take up an entire tableor how long he was there as we left asap but the experience was unsettling. Read more

This cafe has a great atmosphere :) I got the chocolate croissant and cortado with oat milk. My friend got the flourless... chocolate cake and chai latte. We both loved what we ordered! The croissant had a great flakiness to it, and the coffee wasn?ttoo bitter or weak. The chai was comfort in a cup. :) if I didn?t live so far away I would come often! Read more

Petite MarieBette is probably the best place in town for breakfast, lunch or a sweet treat! The food is delicious and always... freshly made and the pastries, freshly-baked bread, and coffee are all amazing. The staff there are super friendly andaccommodating and the service is impeccable. Definitely my go-to for a delicious meal or snack in a pinch in Charlottesville. Read more

I had the tomotato quiche. It was soft but really missing salt and pepper and much needed snap that makes a great dish. It was... fine. Read more

The pain au chocolat and pretzel croissants are the best. I always order an americano and I love the little canelé that comes... with it. There?s not a lot of seating inside or free parking on the street but it?s definitely worth a trip even to take homeand enjoy. Read more

I probably couldn't rave enough about this place. The Honey and Salt latte was delicious, one of the better that I've had, which... came with a petite canelé. The apple galette and hame and cheese croissant were light and flavorful, the atmosphere wasamazing. Definitely visit here if in the area. Read more
