I love ice cream so this is a nice place to go for dessert. I always get a waffle bowl with cake batter ice cream and chocolate... sprinkles with Gummy bears cuz why not. My parents like it too!. Read more
Wow! Talk about portion sizes! One sundae could easily feed a family of 4, or one if you are not a quitter. Momma didn\'t... raise no quitter, but this brownie sundae got the best of me today. The brownie was warm, moist, and with super dark choconotes. I paired it with the Moundz scoop which I think went quite nicely together. The Sundae was super delicious and wellworth the measly $5 they charged for this monstrous tub of surgery goodness. Staff were very friendly and super efficient. Ihighly recommend this place! The ice cream is very good. There were a lot of people, and it took a minute for my milkshake to get ready. I recommend not... getting a milkshake. The cotton candy flavor is my favorite. Best ice cream in Charlottesville!! Read more
Really good ice cream--premium quality, rich and creamy. The flavors aren\'t unusual or unique, but for traditional old... fashioned flavors, this place is hard to beat. Where it falls short though is the customer service. We had to call thecashier\'s attention away from her phone and she seemed annoyed to have to take our normal order. Read more
I made a review on their Dairy Market location - check there for a more thorough review, but here?s a review for the Moo Thru... itself. They offer great-tasting ice cream, scoops, sundaes, milkshakes and more. It?s a C?ville gem and used to only be reallyfar away, but now they have it right in the new Dairy Market. They also allow you to get a scoop of their ice cream and pair itwith the coffee at the kiosk next door, Eleva. Eleva adds a $3 shot of espresso to your scoop, and the espresso is pretty strong(you pay for the espresso at Eleva separately).\n\nIf you?re new to Charlottesville, definitely stop on by to get theexperience. While the ice cream was good I ordered a milkshake once it?s as given to me with a lid that didn?t fit and when I went to put... the straw in the shake fell over. The staff just said the lids are kind of small and walked away, no offer to remake it and givea heads up their lids don?t fit. They didn?t stop to clear up the massive mess in the counter they just ignored me and wen onwith their day. POOR customer service. Read more
