The starter: 4.5/5 was the best on the table unfortunately. Pizza(porky fig): 3.5/5 not bad but it was overcooked Ribs: 0/5... super dry and unpleasant piggy flavor/ cornbread tasted like has be dropped into the water/ coleslaw was not flavored and reallynot fresh at all. Dessert: 2/5 textures was weird and watery Service: 2.5/5 I believe they are short staffed, I understand itmight take longer for the food waiting time. However, I don’t understand why not take away the empty plates and put thedessert under the pizza rack. The flies also are super annoying. Read more
The pizza is amazing! Came for the happy hour, loved the drinks and the prices. High quality 10/10
came for happy hour and they had great deals on cocktails and food. The drinks were on point and the pizza was perfection.... Service was great as well. My first time here and I loved it. Definitely recommend if ur looking for a good cocktail and food. Read more

The food was decent but the portions seemed very small for the price. Paid 33$ for 6 wings and one oversized meatball (and that... was with a veterans discount added to the bill). We had a great outdoor eating experience at Matchbox. I always loved their DC location and this was no different. Chicken pesto... pizza and wings were great and they had an amazing veggie fruit cheese tray with peanut butter for our infant son. Read more
The ambience was great, the server was good, but the food was not. I think this is the first time I have tasted chicken wing... this bland! The taste of the shrimp platter was okay, however, for $21 look at the quantity of the shrimp platter and decide ifyou would like to give it a shot or not. Read more
