We Maru for their selection of great Korean vegetarian food. Our favorites are Maru Fried Rice with Tofu, Fried Vegetable... Dumplings, Dolsot Bibimbap with Tofu, & the Banchan. The Dolsot Bibimbap came out in a sizzling hot bowl! Great outdoor seatingon Charlottesville?s Downtown Mall. Read more

Experience overall here was not good. First, the service was not good at all. The waitress was not attentive towards my family... and I at all. It seemed like she didn?t even want to be there. We had to ask for everything including utensils, napkins, extraplates, etc. She never even checked on us after we got the food. The next time she came to our table after we received the foodwas to give us our check. Then she went on to pre-select the tip amount for us which was not professional at all. Secondly wehad so many dirty plates and utensils. One of the water glasses had a bug in it, then we had to send back two plates becausethey were clearly not washed well. The only positive here was that the food was okay which is why I?m not giving it a 1-starrating. However the experience was not good here at all so I will not come back and recommend that you look elsewhere for Koreandining. Read more

We ordered the Dolsot Bibimap, one with tofu, one with beef. Both were tasty with healthy portion of protein, but the "medley of... vegetables" was pretty minimal. Some shredded carrots and a few bites of other veggies. Maybe the chef was having an off day. Read more

Coming from a well traveled foodie here? this is an excellent place to indulge on authentic Korean cuisine. Great variety of... dishes and good vegetarian/vegan options too. The food is too good to even describe in words? instead let your senses tell youonce you try it. The sweet lemon/honey tea was amazing especially for a cold Virginia day. When we visited they were extremelyshort staffed due to holidays and COVID related shortages. But the owner, cooking staff and waitress were extremely attentiveand we never had a want for anything. They were timely and showed superb customer care while we dined at their very busyrestaurant. Will definitely be back when in VA again. Well worth the trip! Read more

Update: I went for dine-in and their food is phenomenal. I?ve added pics below - definitely try the pork belly, their pork... dumplings, the bulgogi, and their hot plate bibimbap - it comes out sizzling! Their wings are good. Sometimes - especially now- wings have been coming with barely any meat on them. The wings here are thick and flavorful, without being overly large, fatty, or battered. I recommend the traditional sauce, as I found it to be more flavorful than the soy garlic sauce. Thetraditional does have a hint of spice so be aware of that if you decide to get it. I got 12 wings for ~$20. And it comes withpickled radish and carrots on the side. Stop by if you?re in downtown C?ville Read more

We found this walking around the downtown area after driving in from out of town and we are SO glad to have stumbled upon it! We... had a delicious lunch outside that was served up fast. Our server was fantastic and answered all our questions. The portions arebig so come hungry! I highly recommend the wings, they are probably some of the best wings I?ve ever had. Read more
