Overrated. I had my eye on this place. Finally tried it. Avoid the dehydrated calamari. All tentacles, tiny portion and... harder than rubber which makes me glad it was tiny. Terrible. Worst of the worst. I included their new menu as of 10/22. Cost me 8.00 more than their posted menu. We got sushi. Four rolls. Nothing special. Bland. Maybe sushi isn't their thing. Parking was good. Excellent food. They were very busy for a reason. The miso soup was fantastic and the salad with ginger dressing was superb.... Lovvved the yum yum sauce. Better sushi than everywhere in c'ville except maybe Ten (and at a much better price). We had ashrimp tempura roll, spicy tuna roll, chicken hibachi, and filet hibachi. Read more

I had the chicken hibachi and it was so amazingly good. It was served with a small salad and a clear soup as appetizers. I... really enjoyed the soup, which surprised me as I've had something similar before but it was never as good. But the chickenhibachi is genuinely delicious, the vegetables were good, the rice was flavorful without being greasy, and the chicken itselfwas the star of the show - a little seared and juicy. The dining room is small and around 8 on a Friday night it got busy, ithink almost every seat was full and people were coming to pick up food. Yet even with all of that going on the food was promptand my server stayed on top of everything despite being the only front of house staff. I will be back! Read more

Worst customer service, long waiting times, unapologetic, and the food is not worth it. If you plan on doing take out they will... pick up the phone and ignore you instead of asking you to hold for a couple minutes. Spend your money somewhere else!! Read more

I called at 930pm on a Friday and no one answered twice. I went to the restaurant at 9:55pm. People were going inside, the door... was open, customers sitting inside at a table and staff was at the counter. Website and menu both say they are open until10:30pm on Fri and Sat. The counter person told me that they were closed at 9:45. She told me that is why they didn't answerthe phone at 9:30. She made no attempt to apologize for the misinformation on the menu and website. Literally the smallest sushi I have ever ordered for $23 in my life. The staff was very rude and practically threw my food at... me. My 4 year old son was present and they definitely did not take that into consideration when yelling at me. When questionedabout the customer service the staff became frustrated and stated that they would call the police on my son and I. I wasdisgusted with how they treated my family. Due to my unsatisfactory experience I requested a refund and was told no. I lovedthis place about 4 years ago but after this experience I can understand why no other customers were present. The food was amazing . Very decent sized proportion. The server was so sweet and prompt. The food didn?t take too long being... they were so busy . Everything was great. I also had the Alaska roll , it was pretty good with soy sauce. The veggies andbroccoli ???? were soooo good ????. Read more
