Nice Mexican restaurant. The food was good. The service was okay, short staffed which seems to be the norm in most places now.
I specifically asked for nothing hot to the waiter, when my food came out both the rice and the cheese they put on the beans... were spicy, when I confronted them about it, they became very combative telling me I was wrong or blaming me for the spicy food, I guess they don't mind people leaving bad reviews, I won't eat there again, food wasn't all that good and I guess they don'tmind me bad mouthing them. They got their money from me so possibly it's all they really care about. Read more

We stopped here as a family while in Charlottesville for UVA freshman orientation. As former Texans, the food was really good! I... had the fish tacos and the pico was fresh, burned my mouth a bit but in a good way. My husband had something with shrimp andvegetables that were so tasty I cleaned his veggies up when he had come to his stopping point. Definitely will return in theyears kiddo is in school. Food is always very good. I usually order the 3 combination with 2 side for $10.75, which for the amount of food that you get,... the price is fantastic. I get a cheese quesadilla, soft crunchy taco with beef, that by the way is the same size as thequesadilla and also a chalupa. Sides I got a guaca salad and fries. Everything will easily give 2 meals. My wife and I enjoyed the Mexican food here. On a hot summer day, we were also accompanied by our two large dogs: a german... shepherd and labrador. We all appreciated the friendly staff, plenty of shaded area for our pets, and the roomy outdoorseating. We will visit this place again when we visit UVA in the near future. Read more
The best Mexican food I've ever had. I highly recommend the Camarones Diablo the sauce was absolutely AMAZING. the outdoor... seating is dog friendly and is such a chill place to hang out. Out server Carlos was very nice and gave us great service aswell. 5 stars! Read more
