O had some high hopes for this place because I lived in Guadalajara a long time. To hear the name of the restaurant I was hoping... to see on the menu tortas ahogadas or quesabirrias but then it?s just the name but it?s a Mexican restaurant. I wanna say theflautas de res had no salt no flavor and the meat was dry. One of the friends had the quesadilla of chicken and was super salty.Another had carne asad and it was dry and no kind of flavor. Only thing good was a burrito. Had such high hopes as the location is a trendy hip neighborhood and the building is a quaint old house. The hostess and the... waitress were unfriendly as if we were bothering them. The food was mediocre with dry chicken and not fresh. The ?jumbo?margarita was medium sized, watery and weak. I asked for salt but no salt. I love shredded pork or beef enchiladas. Was disappointed to find out only chicken and ground beef for meats on enchiladas.... Beef enchilada was not good. The beans and rice were good. The tortilla chips were fine, and their salsa was excellent. Servicewas good, atmosphere excellent. Read more
High prices for small portions. Spent >$30 total on a pickup order for arroz con pollo, the lunch special that comes with a... cheese enchilada and sides of rice and beans, and 2 canned drinks. Was happy we got free chips and salsa. My boyfriend and Iwere so disappointed when we opened our meals when we got home. You can see in the pictures (which are before eating any ofeither of them), the portions are just so tiny. I'm a small woman, doesn't take much for me to feel full, and I was still hungrywhen I was done.
