This is a corky little place. It's a bar in a somewhat anonymous looking house, that serves a pretty good pizza. All the seating... seems to be outside, but the bench we sat at, had a bit too much bird droppings - it would have been nice if it was wiped clean,at least when we sat down. There was a DJ playing music, alongside the music played in the outside speakers. It was a bitannoying, but the DJ eventually stopped, leaving only the speakers playing music, wich was better. Great pizza but pricey with a large pizza at $25+ . Good for offering vegan cheese options for Calzones and pizzas. Nice... selection of draft beers and one local draft cider (boldrock IPA - one of my faves). Read more

My girlfriend was accused of being rude while in the bar by one of the employees. She had been quietly talking to her friends... and hadn't even spoken to anyone else. One of the workers put her hands on her and physically pushed her as she was trying toleave the bar. I wouldn't recommend anyone frequent this establishment. Read more

The pizza was great but picking up was infuriating. When I called in my order my order I asked if they offered curbside pick up... since I would have kids in the car. The lady said sure no problem. I get there to pick it up and an employee Katie answers. WhenI mentioned that someone had told me they'd bring it out she just says, "yeah, well, we're slammed" and hangs up. I call backand Katie then pretends she can't hear me on the phone and hangs up again. Finally the lady that took my order answered andbrought it out. Not sure what Katie's beef is but she certainly shouldn't be interacting with their customers. Read more

We had a great time!! Live band playing, yummy cocktails and of course pizza! We did a half and half medium pizza, my half the... vegetarian called Emerald (pesto, artichoke, tomato) and the other half the Big Yang (buffalo chicken and bacon and spicyranch). This a sweet spot downtown charlottesville. We stopped here for chow after hiking crab tree falls. There was only one server... whose name.i can't recall on a really nice Saturday afternoon that took the time and effort to check on us very often, made sureour needs were met despites the fact that she was the only one and they had a decent crowd. The establishment was clean and thepizzas were delightfully delicious. My girlfriend is a picky vegetarian while I eat all meat everything but she was verypleasently surprised with the quality of the veggy pizza she got.
