Was just given half a scoop of vegetables and when I asked politely for more I was told I would be charged double. Really? I... asked again and she refused. Also every time I go in I decline the plastic lid (Think about it 90% of the customers use thatlid for 30 seconds and then just throw it away). Despite the cashier listening the same worker put a lid on top. This is notthe first time this has happened. I encourage you guys to train your employees to 1- be empowered to give a customer extra(especially since vegetables aren?t that filing or expensive compared to meats for you guys) and 2- have a sustainabilitymindset and train your employees to ask before just slapping the plastic lid on. We were visiting the area for a few days and decided to stop by here for lunch based on reviews. We waited for 30 mins for the... store to open, and it was certainly worth the wait. The food was very good along with amazing healthy drinks. Too bad we don'thave one where we live. Read more
CAVA is the ONLY restaurant that I will order a salad or power bowl from. The ingredients are fresh and I can tell their base... greens are rotated to keep fresh. Going down the line from the lettuce to the dressing you will find numerous tasty additionsthat will turn your basic salad into a fulfilling meal. Try the crazy feta - you will not be disappointed. Their falafel ismade in house as are many of the toppings and you can see many being prepared in the open kitchen. Dine in - take out and thecovered patio are options for enjoying your meal. Great option if you need a place with vegan or vegetarian meals. The food here is consistent with other Cava locations, however... the service at this Charlottesville location was not as great as in other cities. It?s fast casual so I think the food is moreimportant. We always get the bowl with a mix of grains and greens. This is my 3rd time eating at CAVA. This time I brought a friend that has never been. I tried the cilantro lime sauce this time... and the jasmine tea mixed with lemonade 10/10. Great food and the staff was so friendly and patient as we figured out what to order. The drinks are amazing as well. The... outdoor seating was a bit dirty (some food remains on the table) but it was the end of the night so it was understandable. Read more
I love coming to the Charlottesville VA location they have the best salads! My food be so fresh and good! And the workers are... amazing and they work so hard. Every time I go there Cindy, Carmen and the grill cook Rob are working and they always make myexperience there amazing and friendly. I will always get salads from CAVA!
