Venue/ Location - buzzing and convenient. Service - 10/10 Apps- was ok. The Japanese pork dumpling was good. The rest were... so-so. The karate chicken was too American and salty. If someone told you it was from Chik-filA you would believe it. Thegrilled squid was way over and chewy. Mains- not bad (7/10) for Charlotte Japanese standards. Dessert - the fried u e cream wasvery doughy inside. Overall, way better than Cowfish sushi though, by a million times. Read more
Delicious chicken lettuce wraps and sushi! We did not love the fried rice as the chicken was too sweet. The wait staff were very... kind and welcoming, but the food was not served at the same time so I had to wait 10 minutes to eat my food before the otherplates came. Read more
Only thing that kept it from 5 stay is the service was fairly slow. We sat outside and it took them a little while to come take... our drink order. Then a while longer to take our order. But.. The food was awesome though. Delicious sushi! Read more
Good sushi at a good price, parking on site which is a rare gem on that side of town. Service was mediocre... Had to ask for... water pitcher refills more than once, and we actually were intending to order one more roll to share, but our server brought usthe check (without us asking for it) so we were like "oh...ok then. Guess we're done." Our friends ordered drinks and likedthem. It's pretty far away for us but if I were on that side of town more I'd definitely return. So many delicious-soundingrolls on the menu! This place is right next to my job and they all rave about it but it?s not open during lunch hours. So I had to try it after... work with my husband. We got here about an hour after they opened we were seated right away and my husband wanted to sit outside. The umbrellas helps block the sun but we still got fried but that?s our fault lol. Our waiter Bobby was so helpful he gaveus suggestions and was very attentive. Everyone we came in contact with was so helpful and nice. Everything we had was fresh andcooked to order. I will continue to make this place one of my regular spots. Read more
The sushi here was delicious. The vibes were also nice? think ?modern sushi bar? house music, modern decor, and great food. The... only downside was the bar service could?ve been improved. I was never formally greeted although there were 3 staff behind thebar, it took some time to order, and plates remained on the bar well after they were done with. Excellent food and really good service. The sashimi is very fresh and each fish included tasted good. I went 2 days in a row... because I liked it so much and while some staples remained (salmon, tuna, fatty tuna) the rest were swapped for what was goodthat day. They have some creative rolls and there are a couple of hand roll options as well. The drinks are good as well andthey have a robust menu of them. The weakest part is dessert. Their vanilla ice cream is quite bland, it's actually hard totaste the vanilla flavor at times. Their crispy banana with ice cream uses wonton wrappers that just don't taste good. Theportions of their desserts are really good though and I was pleasantly surprised at how much I got each time. Read more
