So we came down town just to walk around and see some stuff our first time here. We decided to stop in for a drink. Our servicer... was fast and took our orders fast. Our Drinks on the other hand took forever. Over 20 min. We asked the manager and she cameback with a fast rude reply" there is only 1 bartender " and walked away. Our drink 2 beers and a shot. So not a complicatedorder. As a manager you hope behind the bar a d help, wash dishes, make drinks clean what ever it takes. Not just walk aroundand not help and say we only have one bartender. Stopped before the Kevin Hart show, no one was at the door, another patron told us we?d have to just seat ourselves. Took 20 min... for someone to even come to our table. We ordered 2 beers and a pretzel and never got our pretzel before we had to leave. Theydefinitely need some help with servers/cooks/etc. Read more
My friend and I attempted to eat here. So as far as quality of food we are unsure.. I'm sure it would have been great if we had... actually gotten our food. When we finally flagged down our waiter to order he seem like us giving him our order was the biggestinconvenience and ran away before I could even specify what side I wanted with my meal. We waited for at least 30 min before weeven received the cokes we ordered. We kept waiting and kept waiting for the mixed drinks we ordered as we see the bartendermaking every other drink but ours. I passed through here for a conference and brought a healthy appetite after a 6 hour drive. Rain was on the horizon and my party... of 10 just made it in around 7 pm before the heavy rains of a Monday. Our waitress was nice enough to open up the larger backarea for our party so that we could all sit together despite being short staff. Through the course of the evening the chef andtwo different waiters came out to greet us and made us feel at home. I grabbed the Street Tacos: 1 crispy beer-brined chicken,1 beef barbacoa, and 1 beer battered shrimp. The street tacos tilted towards the large side and the flavor delivered. Thisvenue has a rather large beer menu from all over the world and some cost up to 100 dollars for a bottle as they are rare orlimited additions. As tempting as it was, I settled on a Maryland brew that was just what the doctor ordered. Everyone in myparty was very satisfied with their meal and drinks. The only bump in the road we experience was a decrease in quality serviceduring the end of our meal as our waitress never came back to check on us, forgot to bring items, and never returned with ourchecks. Someone else came and made things right but the visit was marred due to this fact hence the minus star. Nevertheless, I would definitely visit again and would seek this chain out in another state under similar circumstances. Read more
Been here a couple of times before covid happened and the epic center was alive and the place to be.. I must say I didn't expect... this place to be ran downhill.. once me and my party got in was told to seat at a table due to a baby which isn't a big deal..once seated the server never came back for 30 minutes. So I grabbed the bartender.. was trying to get a quick bite to eat and acouple of drinks before going to Charlotte FC soccer game.. must say for a world of beer the beer selection was small (I knowepic center is being auctioned and shutdown so I took it with a grain of salt.. I had to grab the bartender to get us startedand order food and she said after this she couldn't do it bc it's the servers table . So the server saw is got taken care of andnever bothered coming back.. the drinks took about 15 minutes yet she was basically by herself and it was pretty slow.. took 30minutes for my loaded tots and side of french fries come out and they were cold.. not gonna go wait another 30 minutes to getmore.. I went into the bathroom and there was vomit dried up on the urinal the bathrooms were disgusting.. there looked likedried vomit in sinks. Unsanitary and I felt even more disgusted.. definitely stay away. I feel like They probably have badhygiene. Will never be back and I'd stay away if I were you. Read more
I came here on 4/24/21. Before I start, I will stay that I was very very hungry and probably hangry. With me doing keto, I have... limited options eating out. I always have to look at menu ahead of time. Secondly, I don?t live local (in Charlotte) otherwise Iwould?ve just cooked at my house. My first issue was parking. The nearest parking is at the epicenter. It?s $5 for the first1/2 hr and then $4 for each additional 1/2 hour... That?s crazy. They have the preferred parking lots a couple blocks awaytoo. Then, when I finally park after being frustrated with lack of options, I get to the restaurant. They said it?s a 30 minswait.. I will add that I had been trying to find somewhere to eat and then park for the past hour. That wait time didn?t help myhangerness.. luckily, it only ended up being 10 mins. By the time the waitress comes, I?m just ready to order. I already knewwhat I want, which was wings (5) as an app, Steak Frites (no fries, Double broccoli) as my entree, and a diet soda. I order thewings and when I told her my entree, she says ?I don?t think we have streak?... I swear I could?ve screamed. Why don?t you havea menu item... I mean, it?s steak. Not to mention, that and wings are THE ONLY items on the menu I have. Lack of grilled itemsand veggies is a huge problem! I think I saw a grilled chicken, but of course, it?s a sandwich and can?t have bread. Everythingshouldn?t be breaded and fried!!! Additionally, she didn?t even say she?ll check to be sure or anything. ?I think we don?t havestreak? and ?we don?t have steak? are different... Not to mention, she didn?t even Needless to say, I had to get 10 wings.Might I add, the wings are overpriced. $17 for 10 wings.. That?s almost $2 a wing. But I got 5 dry rub and 5 garlic parm. Myfriend got a mojito and wings too. Honestly, the saving grace for this visit was that the wings were amazing and ended me boutof hanger. Would I return? Ehhhhh. Unsure. We shall see. Read more
Was in town for work for a few days and stopped here for dinner the first night. The food was so amazing I went back the next... two days for dinner! Absolutely everything I ate here was delicious! It wasn?t very crowded, and despite having a brand newserver that wasn?t very good, the service was pretty decent. Great selection of craft beers. Read more
