UPDATE!!! I made another trip to Charlotte and of course I had to stop to get a bite to eat at my favorite spot. This time I had... the BBQ wings. The sauce had a kick but not spicy, they way I like it. The flavor was sooo good. The meat was literally wasfalling off the bones. The owner, Eric as usual is very attentive to making sure your food is perfect. If you have not triedthis place don't hesitate. I am a very picky person with almost everything I spend my $ on so I will not mislead you. I promiseyou will become a regular customer. I would definitely eat here more often if I didn't live 2.5 hours away. Read more

This is authentic Detroit style pizza complete with dark brown caramelized (just don?t accidentally mistake it as burnt!) crust.... If you?ve never had Detroit style pizza, this is a cultural experience. Historically, the rectangular pizza was made in heavypans as were once used in automotive manufacturing. Still today, the toppings reach to the edge of the dish and pan-fry thepizza resulting in the rich color. It?s really special that the Queen City has so many different styles of pizza so thateveryone feels at home with their respective comfort foods in this city of transplants. Thank you, Woodward Ave.! The pizza here is really good, it tastes fresh and good quality. I loved the crispy edges, the pizza has a good balance of... crust, cheese, and sauce! And the wings!! They are yummy! Perfectly cooked! The menu says they are smoked however they do nothave an overwhelmingly smokey flavor. They are perfectly tender. I ordered the hot honey wings which was a perfect balance ofsweetness with just a touch of heat. I?ll definitely be ordering from here again! Read more

As a lover of real Detroit pizza and real cheese, this pizza was perfect, laminated buttery crust with layer after layer of... pockets of perfectly baked goodness surrounded in a perfectly caramelized outer shell. The cheese was unusual being a realhigher quality toothsome cheese with a lot of flavor. Tried the new cheese sticks, A+ Box was nicely sealed and delivery wasfast, highly recommended! Read more

Was eager to try after seeing the rave reviews. Ordered 2 pizzas(medium pepperoni & large mushroom). The crust was soft, no... crispy outer layer which made the pizza texturing off. The sauce was a bit salty, too much cheese. The only reason I gave them2 stars was due to the owner being so nice. He was having problems with his oven and offered me a drink as it was taking longerthan normal. Perhaps the oven never made it to its correct temperature and that?s why the dough had zero crispness. I?m notsure I will try again. Read more
