Waited for 10 minutes for someone to approach me at the door for seating. Ordered drinks and the waiter said they had nothing... to make our drinks. Then tried to order food they didn?t have the staff to make the food listed on the menu only cooking friedfoods. Floors were dirty with napkins and food the hostess just walked on it and didn?t even pick it up. They need to justclose this place. Gone way downhill!!! Read more
I really wanted to give this place a chance. I read reviews and there were so many negative ones that I am a firm believer that... some people just like to complain. Before I decided to walk from the Homewood Suites over to this restaurant I looked at thereviews, pics, and the site. The appetizer was great but the wings? Hard pass. It was like they were either prepared for anotherorder and possibly sent back and were dropped again for my order. OR they were sitting in the window to long and needed todropped again OR simply fried extra hard. The chicken was inedible it was hard and looked weird. We come here once a week and want to like it more than we can. Each time we come the quality dips and dips. 4 beers were out of... tap (2 of which have been for 4 weeks), chips COVERED in greasy oil, mozzarella sticks cold (like the last 2 times) and zeroBuffalo sauce on the buffarella wrap. They have wonderful shots on the drink menu that are always out of stock. Every time thequality dips. The servers are awesome but spread way too thin to keep up with drink orders. It has so much potential as the bestspot in south Charlotte, but just can?t get it right. I think this place can only have one more chance, but not for a fewweeks. Update: I gave this place its final chance and it crashed and burned. Went for lunch and got their pick 3 special. Firstwas told a yeungling was not a domestic draft. Then the bathrooms were sticky and had puke in them @ 1pm. The food was dry andtasteless. I wish something would take this place over that is good?. Read more
Service is slow, waited after being seated for 7 minutes before greeted by a server. They are out of just about everything and... the server had no idea what they actually have, had to keep walking away and physically looking. Seems like every time we comeit gets worse. Unfortunate for sure Now the food arrived and they must buy baby chickens!! 14$ for this???????????? never comingback!! Complete joke Read more
The burgers are phenomenal the wings are great steer clear of the fried catfish it's a little bland. Our experience would have... been better if the employee weren't required to clap and sing along every hour it greatly disturbs my dining experience. It'sjust very annoying to have loud clapping interrupt your dinner constantly it's obnoxious. I ordered the signature fish bowldrink and the waitress came back and told me that they were all out. How are you out of a drink at 3:30 p.m. when you open at11am ? Ordered our burgere medium rare, we received it well done. Also ordered wings and there was no sauce on the wings, for aplace that's called wild wings in the name the wing should be fantastic and they're not so it's highly disappointing. Had toask for sauce on the side and the sauce they brought us looked like bile and was very watery. Told the manager and his responsewas that he has 30 years experience and hes never eaten wings before in his life so doesn't know how they should be, Which is anunacceptable response. They care more about clapping every hour than making sure the food comes out right. Kohl saw the chef goto the bathroom and leave within the span of 2 minutes which makes me question if he even washed his hands. We will not becoming back. Read more
Seriously, this place is awesome. First of all, and most importantly , Keri, who took care of us, treated us like she had known... us forever, took special care of our grandson, Eli . Spoiler, She hasn't, first time there. Then, the food. My wife and Eliboth ate, without complaints, which is rare. They always find something wrong. But, the thing I was most excited about, was thewings. Perfect size, can be cooked extra crispy, if that's your thing, like me. And an awesome choice of sauces and rubs. I had"The General ", sweet and spicy! Delicious ???? Again, service was outstanding ???? From the minute we walked in the door, toour server, Keri, thank you for an enjoyable, relaxing experience! We ordered two appetizers and drinks as soon as we were seated. It took 6 minutes to get our drinks and our appetizers came out... with our main food(22 minutes). Appetizers are meant to come out before the main course. A beer was spilled at the table andthere was no napkins/towels available. We alerted the waitress and while she was looking for something, we went in the bathroomto get paper towels. This could have been prevented if towels/napkins were on the table from the start. There were multiplepeople trying to take care of us but it sounded like they weren?t communicating with each other(didn?t know if our order wasplaced yet, didn?t know about our appetizers, etc.). Also, we got the sampler wing platter and thought that we typically get 30but the new menu only allowed us to get 25(we may have bad memory but it just didn?t seem like the same number). Also, we gotall drumsticks(due to wing shortage possibly??). We were happy to see multiple servers(more than usual) and an updatedrestaurant but service could use some more improvement as well as timeliness of food. Read more
The wings are tiny! I mean I don?t like jumbo wings where you feel like your eating drumsticks but these wings were so small my... fingers are bigger than some that were served to me. Also the ranch was dripping like water if you want to save then just giveme a 1/4 packet of ranch don?t cut it like your making ranch heroine?? Maybe it was just an off day and I have to try and goback but for right now I?m disappointed. Or maybe I looked at the reviews and higher expectations I don?t know???????
