Food was delicious! However, we had to end up getting it to go. Cause after we sat down and seen how filthy the table and... window seal was. my sweetheart and I were greeted right when we walked in, even though the place was absolutely packed. we grabbed a couple bar... seats and our server Tatiana was just the sweetest. they had a new dishwasher, CJ who kept us company while we had breakfast. The food was good, but there was a random guy there, who didn't work there, and was cleaning the tables. Not sure if he was... drunk or.what, but it was just a lot. None of the staff were asking him to leave, yet they were all talking about him beingcrazy. They were doing takeout only, no dining-in. Just an odd experience. Read more
The food was great and everyone was nice but they decided to add a $20 tip to my credit card charge even though I left the tip... in cash on the table. Very unprofessional and I will never eat at a Waffle House again because of this action by your employees.Very upsetting. Read more
Got stuck in Charlotte for an extra night, had heard so much about the Waffle House and wanted to give it a try. Man, it was a... wild night. The lady working the counter was stretched thin. It was her and the cook with about 8 separate parties. Sheliterally had to lock it down. She was so slammed that after another customer & I stepped to the front, she had the doors lockedto prevent more customers from coming in. She proceeded to kick out a junkie who tried coming in through the backdoor, tend toall the bills, tried coralling a co-worker to show up for her shift, call out remaining orders & deliver them. The cook wassomething else. Man was slinging it at the griddle. Man in a wheelchair rolled up trying to get in and she turned him away andthen spilled some tea on his situation. I had the Texas Sausage melt plate with smothered, covered & chopped hash browns plus achocolate & pecan waffle. I really enjoyed the meal. Waffle is one of the best I've had. The experience was... one to remember???? A lot of things were said by the server that probably shouldn't ever be repeated. My shuttle driver informed me that hedoesn't visit this particular location after dark. Geez, thanks man. You could've told me beforehand. It was fun though! Read more
Overall the food was pretty good. I also ordered a waffle that was served to me undercooked (raw) twice but I didn't take a... picture. My waitress was really nice. She was very attentive and fast. Read more
Can't go wrong with waffle house. Service speedy and the food was extra greasy jus how southerners like it. Had my usual grilled... pork chops extra season with grilled onions season on the onions. Hashbrowns add ham cheese and onions, eggs scrambled withcheese and a grilled biscuit with mixed fruit jelly. The cook took their time with my food. She was a whole wife back there onthe grill.
