If you haven’t tried Volo you should! Authentic Italian restaurant, neighbor vibe… The food is spectacular. In just a few... visits have gotten to know the staff and owner. This is the type of restaurant we need more of in Charlotte. Even short staffedyou can tell they love what they do and they love their customers. If you haven’t had Amora give it a shot. First time here and it was fantastic! The hostess was very pleasant greeting and seating us at our table. A very pleasant lady... brought us our cannellini beans and homemade bread. Our waiter Philly was at our table in 2 minutes pouring us water and takingour drink order. The cocktails were wonderful!! We had a delicious appetizer of calamari, squash and zucchini flash fried. Weall ordered different entrees and all were scrumptious. All ordered different desserts and definitely no complaints. We willreturn soon. Read more

Everything about this place is outstanding. The food, the drinks, the service, the entire experience. A great place for date... night, anniversaries, birthday dinners and so on. So sad I don’t have a good review for this place! Went for a date night. We had a reservation and we were sat at a poorly... located table (where all the servers and guests using the bathroom walk back and forth, small table sat on wall) I wish I hadasked to sit elsewhere, but we went along with it. We ordered wine and an appetizer, and it was great. We didn’t get any tablebread like every other table around us, sadly. When our pasta dishes came out, I was severely disappointed. They lookedabsolutely nothing like the pictures on the website. We picked this place because I saw their pasta on the website and it lookedso good! I got the Ligure pesto pasta, but I sent it back because it was so so so flavorless. It really tasted like pasta with abit of olive oil and maybe some parsley. I thought it was so bland…especially for $20. I really think it should be taken offthe menu, or a new pesto recipe should be created. It took forever to get the attention of our server to let him know. Finallyhe came around and was so kind and apologetic. I ordered the gnocchi instead. By this time my boyfriend had long since finishedhis meal. Once I finished, we just wanted to pay and leave. We were never offered dessert, and it took ages to get the bill. Theserver and the manager took the pesto off our bill thankfully, but for the flavors and time wasted, I don’t think the pricewas worth it in the slightest. Very sad because we cancelled reservations at another Italian restaurant to try this place! Read more
From the moment we walked in everyone was very welcoming. The food was delicious and fresh, and the staff was just amazing, they... all made for a wonderful dinner. The squid ink pasta had the perfect amount of spice and sooo good, my husband is obsessed withtheir gnocchi. Read more
This place is absolutely AMAZING!!!!!My husband and I ate here while we were visiting for our Anniversary. Our experience was... really nice, from the hostess who greeted us with a warm smile, to the waitress who went the extra mile to be extra attentive toour wants, to the chef who cooked our meals not only our specifications but cooked it to perfection.
