Part of our crew members went out for lunch and offered to pick us up something. We declined. As soon as they returned and sat... down to eat, the most amazing scents and smells began to permeate every single corner of the 2-story house that we're currentlyworking on. After leaving work, we loaded up the info on the GPS and were there in no time. The owner(Ty) was heading out thedoor as we were making our way across the parking and told us that he had left the door open for us. In this tiny storefront, itwas a sensory overload of amazing scents wafting out of the kitchen, that immediately let you know that you were undoubtably inthe right spot. I don't say this very often, but this is one of those Hidden Gems, that is literally hiding in plain sight. Ourorders consisted of the large Jerk chicken and the large Ox-tail meals. Both with mac-n-cheese, peas and rice and collard greenswith smoked turkey. We also ordered 10 wings with the 2 flavor options. We had the Fried Garlic Parmesan wings and the Henny BBQwings. My friend considers himself and Ox-tail aficionado and they absolutely raved about the quality, tenderness, seasoning andtastiness of Ty's Ox-tails as well as the the au jus that they mixed with the peas and rice. My Jerk chicken was phenomenal,with the chicken just full of flavor and tenderness and a perfect zip of spiciness and some heat. The Collard greens with smokedTurkey meat was next level. And the mac-n-cheese was a perfect blend of all things cheesiness. I had the distinct pleasure ofmeeting Ty and conversing with him about a multitude of topics. A fantastic conversationalist and most agreeable company. Ifyou've missed out on this Hidden Gem, up until now, make it your business to check out this most amazing restaurant that'shidden in plain view. You won't be disappointed. I love love love this place. Their jerk wings are amazing! And I don?t know if it?s new or I just overlooked it but the fried... cauliflower was amazing! I seriously could just order a big batch of that and be so happy! Their oxtails are delish too! Thisplace is a must try! Read more

Let me start by saying the two gentleman in the restaurant (I believe to be father and son) were soo kind and professional! The... prices were extremely reasonable and the food came very quickly! The food however lacked the Caribbean flavor necessary to callit authentic West Indian food. It wasn't bad...it just wasn't Jamaican flavored cuisine. The mac n cheese wasn't too bad. Continuing to burn my mouth, because the chicken is just that tasty ???? Sweet and spicy & Lemon Pepper With mac and cheese

Soooooo,Yeahhhhh....Nope. Ordered oxtail with fried okra & Mac & cheese. As well as Plantains & greens. The oxtail tail was... super tough to eat but had a decent flavor or spice to it.The Mac & cheese was really good.My okra was fried in a big clump butwas good.My plantains were BURNT????????& they legit still sent it to me!Needless to say,not the best experience. Well not quite what I was expecting. Despite the reviews we tried instead. The Mac & Cheese and rice were decent, but the Jerk... chicken was dry. What was disappointing was the Chicken tenders and fries. It tasted like fast food or store brought from thefrozen section in the grocery store. -The cook wasn?t wearing any gloves, the restaurant floors was dirty, untidy areas & thisunpleasant mold/mildew like smell is what hit me once i entered ???????? Surprise! Just in a word that describes our faces as we begin to eat. As the store front is not a reflection of what you are... about to eat. What a great experience! We were not so sure as we were walking up to the place. Our food was absolutely great! Some of the best plantains I have had and everyone at the table agreed. Ty is the owner and was very pleasant. It was just himrunning the place. However, he was quite efficient. I had the small jerk chicken with rice it was really good. It is pleasantwhen you are treated so well.
