Fried chicken was dry because it had been reheated. Cheddar grits super dry and chunky, no love. Mac and cheese average. Fried... cauliflower was very good, though i did not like the siracha bbq sauce. Cesar salad was good and fresh, surprisingly largeslices of fennel that looked like parmesan, fresh dill. I will not be going back. Read more

Service was pretty fast overall. Employees were very friendly, professional, and I appreciated their attention to... cleanliness. We had the smothered chicken thighs and shrimp po boy as mains and our sides were baked Mac, french fries, andmore Mac. The Mac was okay. If you don't like actual baked and slightly burnt Mac and cheese this ain't for you. The frieswere crispy and a little bigger than McDonald's and I really enjoyed them. Smothered chicken thighs I originally criticized asbeing too small of a portion but by the end of my meal I was certainly fall and the chicken thighs were absolutely amazing. ThePo boy was delicious and as good as any you'd get in New Orleans. We also got a couple of cocktails that were very tasty. Read more

Very cute atmosphere but the food and service was very underwhelming. I had the fried green tomato, southern fried chicken, Mac... & cheese and crispy Brussels and the peach don't kill my vibe sangria drink. 1. The workers were not uniform and some were more"well groomed" than others which looked a little messy and honestly confusing to tell the staff from the patrons. They shouldhave on name pins or aprons or something. Our waitress was not very efficient and another waitress checked on us more than ouroriginal. 2. The food presentation was amazing! I read all of the reviews about the flavor and southern flare but nothing on myplate was extraordinary- my chicken was bland, was not honey dusted at all and came out so fast I'm assuming it was old. It wasfried very well tho I just wish it was more flavorful. My Mac was mushy bland and over cooked and my Brussels sprouts althoughfresh also weren't salt and peppered like they advertise and are better at long horn . The fried green tomatoes were good. Mydrink was pretty tasty! Ultimately coming from out of town seeing all the rave reviews and then actually eating there was alittle disappointing. Read more

I ordered the regular Chicken and Waffles. The chicken does not seem to have any salt, something I read on other reviewers left.... It was cooked well, just not much seasoning. The waffles were good; not anything special but not bad either. The staff wasnice, and the restaurant was clean (although I ordered takeout). And it was moderately priced: 14.95 for a large tray offood. Nice atmosphere. Chicken was bland. Waffles was ok. Read more
