My husband and I drove all the way from Lancaster South Carolina, and let me tell you...we were not disappointed!!! First of... all, the service the ladies gave us was amazing!! They recommended items for us to try, being it was our first time there. Whenour food was ready, they brought it right out to us!! It was delicious, and fresh! Decided to stop by after coming across a quite tantalizing social media post only to end up moreso disappointed with the actual... food. Service was as good as you get with a takeout only establishment, there wasn't anything I would change in respect toservice. My issues lie in the taste and texture of the food, i had ordered the vaquero fries and smokey bandit, the fries thatcame with the food surpassed my expectations but the rest did not. The smokey bandit was too sweet, there wasn't anythingcounteracting the over sweetness of the sauce , which overpowered the brisket and made the sandwich have an overall sweet,greasy, taste and texture profile. The vaquero fries were alright with the exception that it didn't have as much meat as i hadseen on their online menu. The amount of meat that we did receive had a very sinewy feel. I'm from Colorado springs, Colorado and we love our tacos there. I love discovering new tacos when visiting new places the ... food here is flavorful and served beautifully. But this place i can say is my favorite it is a must have if you live inCharlotte or are just visiting. And the couple that run this amazing place are very friendly. I will mostly will be making atrip back here from Colorado just for the food!!!!!! Read more
So my hubby found this place, and its a gem. Some of the BEST tacos Ive ever had in my life. IN MY LIFE, PEOPLE. If you like... BBQ, get the holy smoke taco.
