I loved everything about this place....food, service, atmosphere AND pricing! It's hard to go to a restaurant that offers... different food cultures and it all taste good and authentic. Welp, this is the place. I wanted everything on the menu as Ilooked around at other guests tables????. But I went for the mashed potatoes, collard greens (yes, I know...) and a grilledchicken with a sauce that I couldn't get enough of! And the collards.....OMG! I am a southern girl and know about greens. Theyweren't my Mama's but if I had to go for the best alternative, this is where I'd go (even before a soul food restaurant ????)! Ithoroughly enjoyed this place. Read more

Made a group reservation for dinner here last weekend for my sister's birthday - we came into town to surprise her & celebrate... with her. I did a Google search a few weeks before hand & found this place. Upon arriving, we were immediately taken to thepatio area where we requested to be seated for our larger party - luckily the weather was perfect so it wasn't gettingcold/chilly until we were already done & leaving. We had two servers. Both were good, especially the server that focused on ourpart of the group - her name was Kay Kay. Service was timely, friendly and on point. And so was the food! We all enjoyed all theappetizers, entrees & drinks we had. Personally, I ordered the Calamari as an app & the Shrimp Tortellini as an entree -delicious, perfect temperature & so filling! Others had entrees like the Salmon plates that were available, Shrimp & Grits,Steak, etc. All in all, we all enjoyed our meal - especially my sister who we were celebrating. I would recommend it to othersto try & I would go there again if looking for somewhere to dine when I'm visiting the area again. Read more

Great overall menu and a good brunch menu. The waitress had a great sense of humor and took good care of us. I had the shrimp... and grits, which were fabulous. We finished the meal with their baked Alaska dessert… YUM. Read more

Quaint brunch experience with a varied menu and charming ambiance. Food: 5/5 The little free muffin “appetizers” were... spectacular delicious and will be returning for those alone. They provide these cornbread poppy seed muffins with almond(?)glaze, which truly were the star of the meal. Fair portion sizes where you’re comfortably full but not stuffed. Service:5/5 Despite coming at peak brunch hour, our party was seated promptly with minimal wait. Our server and hostess were friendlyand warm as well. Ambiance: 5/5 It’s not a bright, light trendy brunch place for sure. Rather, Trio gives upper middle classgrandma’s dining room experience, which is a mood in itself. Maybe late 90’s Sizzler? Very charming either way. Read more
