I love this place. Great food but extremely inconsistent. The first time I came my corn was over cooked and literally mushy and... shriveled up. I had a few good times after that but yesterday I went in and for one the lady who checked me out was rude. Iasked her could I get a bag of ?sides? and she said ?Just tell me what you want please? she was rude, and could?ve tried to letme know what sides they had or offered a menu. Once I got the bag home it was extremely watered down, which is the first time ithappened but it was horribly nasty and watery so I had just decided to throw it out. This place is very inconsistent and need towork on customer service. Multiple times I?ve walked in to place an order and was ignored like I wasn?t even there. Plus theWATERY BAG it seems like you guys threw the water in from the boil with the butter ???????????? it was terrible. I wanna give itanother try but I can?t keep wasting money on bad service and mediocre food. I?ve had good experiences where the food wasamazing, service? My friends and I had dinner here last night and had a blast!! Asia was super fun and a phenomenal server, we ordered so much... food because everything looked good and the BUCKET DRINKS WERE HITTING!!!! The seafood served that day wasn?t the freshest (andthe fried catfish was the least seasoned thing on the table for some reason???) and the wait for drinks was pretty long, butthey?re probably short-staffed like everywhere else. However, the lemon-pepper wings/mozzarella sticks/sweet potato WAFFLEFRIES/calamari/boom boom sauce/juicy special sauce sopped-up fresh(ish) seafood was incredible and ASIA WAS AMAZING!!! I have tried a lot of crab boil locations in Charlotte. It seems like every other week another 2 or 5 seem to pop up but there?s... one place that stands above the rest and that?s is my go to joint. That?s the Juicy Crab on Tyron in Charlotte. Even the otherJuicy crabs are not nearly as consistent as this location. The juicy special sauce on medium is so good I want to lick the plateafter. Normally I get crab and shrimp but tonight I just got shrimp and it was phenomenal. Plenty of sauce and even more flavor.Also shout out to the fantastic service from Shayla! Read more

So usually I am SUPER excited to eat crab legs, especially at a place that serves the BEST sauce! I work 12 hr shifts, so I am... usually picking up my dinner. Tonight, I had my mind set on crab legs, so I pass 2 Crafty Crabs - 1 closer to my job, and 1closer to my house - just to come here. The young lady Kaitlyn R who took my order was very pleasant, and she gave great rapportand suggestions and all. However, when I got my meal, I noticed that I was charged for a 4oz of the Juicy Special, never got it.I also ordered EXTRA corn and potatoes, never got it. They just threw my 1lb of snow crabs in a bag and sent me on my way. $6extra was spent to enhance my meal, and it wasn't giving what it was supposed to give This was NOT the great experience thatI'm used to from this place. Where to start, where to start! This place is a vibe from the time you walk in the door, look at the menu, receive your food and... walk out the front door. I left a birds eye view of my crawfish, crab and sausage platter with 3 eggs and the everything sauce,everything was fresh and delicious and our waitress monique( i hope thats her name) was amazing she recommended the perfectdrinks for us. Enjoyed the food, super good quality seafood and will definitely it?s worth trying. I ordered the ?Juicy Special? mild and it... was super spicy be aware the sauces are hot, nevertheless great tasting. Service was superb, our waiter was extremely nice andattentive.
