The menu has some really great concepts! The party I was with was a bit dissatisfied with the turnout. I had the waffle battered... chicken wings. The chicken wasn't flavorful and seemed dependent on the waffle batter and the hot honey sauce. While I cannotspeak for others the general consensus was the same. Read more
My wife and I went here for our weekly date night. We always love checking out tapas places and Degenerate did not disappoint.... The tapas here are not your ordinary tapas. They are MASSIVE. We order 5 tapas and it was basically 3 meals. My personalfavorite were the fried green tomato slides. We didn't order any drinks on this occasion but they had a nice selection ofcocktails on the menu. The service was really good and the staff was really professional. Degenerate is a tucked away little gemoff the main road in NODA, I would recommend this place anyway looking for a place with a good vibe and great food. Read more

I have only been here once but it was a good experience. It was a Friday night and the crowd was steady but seating was not an... issue. The tables were nicely spread out, too often places try to cram tables together so this was nice. The menu caters to moreof a shareable style, a handful of sandwiches and deserts outside of shareables. I ordered the grilled cheese, seems basic butthe cheese is amazing, several kinds in there and done perfectly. A little portion of tomato soup to dip, so good. Great brunch, great atmosphere & great service. Justin was very friendly & attentive. The eggs were cooked to order, the grits... were creamy, & the bacon was crisp. I was very pleased. Not sure about the cocktails, but great choices available for wine &drafts. Also, Wu-Tang instrumentals will now be part of my self-care playlist thanks to The Degenerate! I'll definitely be back! My BF and I just moved from New York City and actually two people recommended The Degenerate to us so we had to go as soon as we... got here. Those people weren?t wrong. The Degenerate was an amazing experience and meal. The restaurants is in an amazing space.Plenty of room and TVs to watch sports. They had an incredible bottle and draft list along with amazing wines and cocktails. wehad the mustard wings which were to die for. They were crispy and saucy at the same time, the Elote salad, the burger, thepierogies, the gnocchi and the Caribbean tacos. Everything was delicious. I just wish I had a second stomach. After two other stops when we were still hungry, this was our final stop for the night. We got the Pierogis, Caribbean Tacos,... Gnocchi, and the Chicken Sandwich. I really loved the food. I was especially impressed by the Gnocchi and Pierogis. I wouldlove to come back here and try more of the menu. I've heard their brunch is fantastic too, so I guess I'll have to try thatnext. Keta is amazing super polite and attentive she recommended the Beetle Juice drink which was super tasty. The bartenders the... great too! I had the Za'atara dish, super delish and the perfect size for my appetite. I do not think the water tastes goodthough, ????????? it's like tap water but worse.
