To be honest I was split between 3 and 4 stars here. Food was pretty good (not great). Was a bit expensive. I ordered spicy... garlic sauce on the side and they forgot it. Very expensive for what you get. Pop up kitchen, so you would think the pricingwould be a bit more aggressive. The dumplings tasted fresh, and were hand rolled. I appreciate the craft here for sure. Wow! Really good! Tried a few things from here for the first time and loved the food. The Ja Jang Noodle dish was flavorful, the... broccoli skewers were deliciously seasoned and perfectly cooked, the dumpling flight was an interesting sampler, and the jasmineteas were refreshing! The food was well packaged in big portions enough to share or have lots of leftovers- a good value for theprice! Would definitely get food from here again! Read more

Our favorite Chinese food in Charlotte, really fresh dishes. Haven't had one we don't like. A lot of stuff that you don't... typically find on a menu and they do an incredible job with it all. The dumplings are great, the broccoli skewers are so good. Iusually get the Dan Dan Noodles, my wife gets the Braised Beef Noodles Soup. Read more

If you think you know the best dumplings in town, well, you don't unless you try Sun's kitchen's dumplings. You can tell are... fresh, and made with the best ingredients. A box of 10 is plenty since they are pretty big. I'm not a sauce person, but tried acouple and they really go well with the dumplings. Great noodles too, truly Asian comfort food! Update: still great food. Thelamb skewers are great and the wontons won't disappoint! Read more

Just tried Sun's Kitchen for the first time. I lived in Beijing and Shanghai for about 9 years and WOW I am so happy to have... finally found a truly authentic and absolutely delicious Chinese restaurant in Charlotte! If you've ever wondered what Chinesefood tastes like in China, look no further than Sun's Kitchen. The eggplant was divine. The skewers are just perfect. And don'tmiss this tofu salad. Will be making this a new frequent spot. Thanks you, Sun's Kitchen! ????? Read more

I randomly stumbled across Sun's Kictchen on UberEats. I wanted Chinese food but not your typical greasy over price back... alleyway Chinese. I'm glad I picked this place. The food was absolutely top notch authentic Chinese food. The flavors werebold, spicy and delicious while still being vegan friendly. The pricing was phenomenal for the porition size and best part aboutit you can enjoy it from the comforts of your own home. My meal was packaged beautifully and seem to be handled with care. Iwould surely eat here again and recommend you do, too. Read more

The ordering process was super easy, there is plenty of parking at the City Kitchen, and my order was ready early! I really... enjoyed the mango lemon Jasmine tea! I think it will be really good as a cocktail, too, mixed with some vodka. Weekend goalshaha The dumpling flight was delicious! I'll admit I was too excited to dig in that I forgot to look up the colors as I waseating them. My favorite was the white one and my least favorite (but still very tasty) was the purple one. The dipping saucewas the perfect compliment! They provide you with a fork and a napkin. I had some chopsticks at home which is my preferredmethod of eating dumplings. Read more

We love everything we've had from City Kitch. The ghost kitchens there are all awesome. Sun's Kitchen was our most recent spot... that we tried there. Covid-19: ghost kitchens are inherently pandemic friendly. You order and pay online. You can call when youget there for curbside pickup. Otherwise check in on the iPad inside when you get there. We got the Braised Beef Noodle Soup,Hot & Dry Noodle, Ja Jang Noodle, Dumpling Flight, and the Mango Lemon Jasmine Tea. We loved everything. The Hot & Dry Noodleswere my favorite. They were a little spicy and very flavorful. I loved how thick the noodles were. The Dumpling Flight wasanother favorite. The wrappers are homemade and you can definitely tell the difference. The beef in the Braised Beef NoodleSoup was super tender and the Ja Jang Noodles were great. Whatever you do, don't skip the Mango Lemon Jasmine Tea. It'samazing! We can't wait to go back and sample the rest of the menu! We're always excited for more Szechuan places in the city. Read more
