If I could give 6 stars for service, I would. The attention to detail at Steak 48 is exceptional. Our waitress, Hannah, went... above and beyond for us! I had the blood orange martini and it was impeccable. Food was a bit pricey, but who freaking careswhen it's as delicious as it is, and you're so well attended. 10/10 !! AMAZING, AMAZING, AMAZING. Celebrated a birthday with 9 beautiful ladies and everything was superb!!! We looked great, our staff... consisted of Matt and Nick and they tool very good cate of us! I cannot wait to go back. The atmosphere was peaceful and classy!You had a choice of a black napkin or white. Matt explained the menu because he knew everything on it and gave greatrecommendations. Reservations are important!! Book as soon as you know because the weekend gets packed so quickly!!however, itis worth the wait! Also, the mirrors in the bathroom are great for pictures too!! Went to celebrate my birthday with no reservation; seated at a pub style table near the bar. Our service was excellent. Shout... out to Jason, the Manager and Sarah for redemption from our first mediocre visit. Thanks to them both and the whole team thatwas working on Sunday 10/23; we will definitely return. Jason worked hard to ensure that we enjoyed our whole experience and Iam very grateful to him for that. The food was very good. The steak was cooked as we requested. The calamari and shrimpappetizer is so good and they give you a lot although my favorite is the chicken fried lobster tails. I wanted to try somethingdifferent and it didn?t disappoint. Great food. Excellent service. Just what you would expect. So, let me mention a couple things about my experience you might find... informative: 1. Some tables are better (more intimate, not as spacious) than others, depending on the atmosphere you prefer. Wesat in a nice private corner that quickly became loud and uncomfortably crowded once a large party sat next to us. What wascozy, quickly became ?ugh!? 2. Dress code strictly enforced. I saw them refused to seat someone who appeared to be a Charlotteballplayer because he was wearing a jersey. 3. The bread wasn?t good - too salty and bad texture. The bread is usually the firstthing you try. Luckily we gave it a chance beyond the bread because everything else was great. 4. The menu is not kid/familyfriendly. came in with my boyfriend for some drinks and an appetizer at the bar this past Saturday. Alyssa was working and was fabulous!... She was delightful, knowledgeable and quick. She gave us great service and enhanced our whole experience. The bartenders made mesome great french 75s and they had a nice whiskey collection from bottom to top shelf. The shrimp and Calamari appetizer wasgood and was accompanied by three delicious sauces. Alyssa brought us bread and cookies even though we didn?t have a full meal,We appreciate that woman! Read more
My wife and I decided to celebrate Day of Love this year on 2.22.22 at Steak 48. This experience was not what I expected. The... overall experience was okay. We were greeted by a lovely team, seated by a nice lady but my server didn't make this the bestexperience. He actually made me feel rushed and not really welcomed. Upon first arriving, I watched him go to the table next tome 3 times to assist with this client. When I was trying to understand the list of wines, he said a few names quickly and thenleft. I will give a shout out to one of the managers, Bobby. He came over to check on us and noticed I didn't like the meatloafand went to get me NY Strip in less than 10 minutes. However, for this to be an upscale steak house, the best part of my mealwere the side items. I definitely won't be visiting this one again. Maybe we need to try one outside of our state. Everything was great. Service was great. Our server was very knowledgeable about the cuts of steak. I didn't think I would be... able to have steak due to my braces but the steak was so tender and juicy it was easy for me to enjoy. Sides were delicious. Best steak meal in Charlotte, hands down. Every course was delicious. Service was impeccable. Environment is fun and I liked how... there were different rooms, so it felt very intimate. Don?t even think about skipping on the corn crème brûlée. Reservationsgo fast so book early. I couldn?t get a Saturday reservation 5 weeks ahead of time but luckily Sunday was available.
