Don?t come here. I wasn?t going to come based on the reviews but it was right next to my hotel so I did. 1. The service was not... pleasant. I asked if there were spinach or kale to mix in and the maam said ?this is a fruit place. We don?t got novegetables? 2. it took 30 mins for this girl to make my açaí bowl and she acted like it was her first day on the job - didn?t know how to do... anything. additionally she was so unsanitary it was so gross. I couldn?t watch her make it. Please tie up your hair like anyother food service requires. she kept dropping stuff everywhere and didn?t know how to do anything. not worth the $12 Read more
Nice quiet spot uptown. Employee was very cordial and helpful. Very knowledgeable of the menu and the differences between my... selections. The bowl was good. The insulated to go bar was a huge win. This was my first time ordering ahead because they usually have quite a few bowls to make and I feel awkward standing there for... 10-15 minutes before they get a chance to make my walk in order. I went and picked it up when they told me it would be ready. Iwas so sad when I sat down to enjoy it and discovered it was melted. So instead of a refreshing acai bowl I had soup with fruit. I don?t really have a problem with this spoons taste fine to me and good portion of fruit and acai. Shorting two stars because... of the girl who always works the front counter not because of how she makes the bowls but her NASTY attitude?I have neverexperienced such awful customer service. I go there about once or twice a week and typically I just ignore her being awful to meand everyone because I don?t know what goes on in her life and to be honest I feel bad. Maybe if you guys have a tipping optionshe?ll fake a better attitude lol. I usually go in person to order and pick up my food but I made my boyfriend go and when hegot there he said he had a pickup and she just stared at him and said ?we?ll it says you?ll be here in another 10 minutes to getit? and he said ?okay we?ll I?m here now so make the bowl? with an attitude because he?s not gonna put up with her bad attitudelike most of us do, and she started mumbling in the back and threw it on the counter when she was done and she really shorted mewith less acai and fruit than usual all because my bf gave her a taste of her own medicine. ???? I absolutely love this place! I normally do smoothies in the morning but I wanted to try something a bit more filling this... morning so I decided to try Spoons and I?m glad I did!!
