The food was great but the length time between ordering food and receiving the food was excessive. The worst part of the... experience was paying. I had to walk over to the waitress station to ask if everything was ok and to understand the delay withreceiving my card back. Read more
Sophia's Lounge is a great place for a special treat. We were staying at The Ivy's so we got to experience coming down the grand... staircase into the lounge. The bar staff are super friendly and are able to answer questions about drinks and even make specialrequests. The drinks are unique and delicious and they offer more fuzzy furniture than you could ever hope for. Read more
Got to visit Sophia's on a rare date night a while ago. It's a bit confusing when you get in as they expected us to find out own... seat. I think this was due to short staffing, as there is a host stand at the streetside door, and wasn't a big deal. Weordered some drinks and apps and sat down and enjoyed the intimate atmosphere of Sophia's for a very nice date night. The drinkswere on point, I don't remember what she had, but my Old Fashioned was excellent. I DO remember that we ordered the trufflesliders and I after having them I was ready to joyfully pass on into the next life. The lamb meatballs were great, too, but thetruffle sliders... oh... Sophia?s lounge is a cute lounge located inside of Ivey Hotel . It?s crazy how Sophia?s lounge had been on my list like forever... , then when I finally made my way here myself or anyone from my reservation party did not feel compelled to order food . Reasonbeing the food menu didn?t excite us at all so we played it safe & ordered drinks and charcuterie boards & had dinner somewhereelse . What I won?t take from this place is the customer service and beautiful vintage decor . Our drinks were really good andwe enjoyed our time here I would recommend Sophia?s Lounge as a girls night for cocktails . I would love to come back & stay inthe actual hotel .My sister stayed one night & stated she loved the rooms and the service she received at the Ivey Hotel . Read more
Sophia?s lounge is a delightful speakeasy style upscale bar tucked inside downtown Charlotte. I would give the service seven... stars if I could for the amazing hospitality and friendly demeanor. Shout out to Sebastian, Daniel and Molly. The drinks aredelicious takes on some good ol? classics. All the appetizers are generous portions and were great accompaniments for thecocktails.
