Rusans is the place I take friends who love sushi so they can have the best sushi of their lives. I have personally never found... anyplace better. This weekend was no exception when we took my son for his birthday. From the appetizer to the dessert we had anamazing meal. By far the best sushi I have had in Charlotte! There are so many options on their menu and our server, Toto, was extremely... helpful in giving us recommendations based on what we like. He even went out of his way to make us a handwritten list of some ofhis favorite rolls on the menu for next time. Overall the food and experience was amazing. Haven’t been here in a few years but had an absolutely great experience there today. Sushi was fresh with large portions of... fish in all the rolls we had. I’ve worked in sushi restaurants since 2003 and I just can’t say enough how deliciouseverything was. Great quality and on top of the food our service was outstanding! Our server Carson (name on our receipt)seriously gave my stepson and I the best service I’ve had in a restaurant in a very long time. Honestly the best sushi I’ve ever had. The ingredients were cool and fresh and the menu was was fun and inclusive. Service was... quick and polite and the atmosphere is very fun. I found this place by looking up the best rated sushi spot at the $$ pricepoint and I was not let down. Read more
My all time favorite spot to take people visiting Charlotte looking for good sushi at a value. The atmosphere is loud and... bustling but it works well for this place as you enjoy the bar as much as the food. The Super Power Builder is a great combo toshare (or not) but you can’t go wrong with any of their signature rolls. At any given moment a group might be banging on thetable taking a line of sake-bombs. This place is fun and delicious. Read more

The mussels were definitely my second favorite ???????????????????? I am not a sushi guybut it was definitely fresh ???????????????????????????????????????? The place was clean to some degree can be better. Great food and fast service to get your food. Fish is always fresh. Super friendly staff that know the menu super well and give... out the best suggested food item that will fit your taste buds. Down fall is long waiting period to be seated, but that onlybecause of how many people that want to eat here. Place is worth the wait though! Read more
Service was good. A little slow but we were in no rush and enjoying the afternoon. Our server was very friendly. Ordered spring... rolls, gyoza, and 4 s ish i rolls: exotic, LOL, ultimate tuna roll and a grinch roll. Our favorites were the exotic and the LOL.The ultimate tuna had a Smokey flavor I wasn’t expecting and not a huge fan of but otherwise it was good. The exotic had mangowhich was very yummy.
