Best Acai in the city. Made near perfection every time. The only complaint that I have with every Acai place is that it's a bit... too expensive. It doesn't stop me from going but if it was about $3 cheaper per bowl then they'd be unstoppable Read more

Update: Rico's has had the large bowl the past few times I've been. I'm happy. Original: I like Rico's, and go there fairly... often, but I have noticed several times... months apart... where you don't have large bowls. Like you force people to buy asmall because you don't have plastic bowls. The cynical part of me thinks you're just trying to maximize your profit margins.Regardless, you have lost some of my business on a few occasions because of it. How hard is it to find/buy a few months supplyof disposable plastic bowls? Read more

Pros: friendly customer service. Cons: the "classic" bowl was mostly sliced bananas and cheap-y granola. Very little açaí, you... can barely taste it. I was willing to pay the hefty price if it were truly an açaí bowl, but for what you get, it's not worththe $9. Sorry, Rico's. I had the Brazil "classic" bowl at the Pecan location. This is also coming from a Brazilian and I'vehad my share of açaí bowls back home. Read more

Waited 15 mins for two bowls. Paid nearly $12 for a medium and it?s 90% granola, peanut butter and bananas. Can?t taste the... Açaí, total waste of money. Read more

This place never seems to disappoint me. The last time I was in NC I googled acai bowl and found their little hidden truck and... it was great then and it's still great now. Their acai bowls lack nothing! Beyond delicious, but; you don't have to take my wordfor it. More for me I always say???? Read more

See photos. This bowl was not fresh and has some weird thing in the bottom. It looked to be prepared long ago and then frozen... and taken out of freezer and sent for delivery. Gross. It had something that had frozen in the bottom - but it wasn?t water. Itwas of a plastic consistency. Worst thing is I tried to contact the store - left a message on voicemail AND emailed them. Neverheard anything back. So hence this review. Read more

Rico's Acai was a really pleasant experience. 1. The bowls are delicious! The fruit is very fresh and you feel great after... eating these bowls. As others have mentioned there is not a great deal of Acai in the bowl! It tastes so good it leaves youwanting a bit more. 2. They are fairly pricey. However, the fruit here is a bit more fresh than some other places in thearea. I think the prices are pretty good for what you get. 3. Customer service was excellent, however, we had to wait about10-15 minutes for our order to be fulfilled. They have outdoor seating so you can wait for your food or enjoy your order onnice days. Rico's is honestly so good. I used to work at the 7th Street location and the company treats their employees well. With that... being said, I also know how these bowls are supposed to be made. My location prided itself on filling the acai bowls completelyto the top of the lid, as they are not the cheapest things to buy. I've never had an issue with getting incomplete bowls fromany location except the plaza midwood one. They inconsistently fill their bowls and frequently short customers on ingredients. Ihave called the location, offered feedback, and I'm frequently dismissed. Today was the last straw for me as one bowl I got wasa little lower than normal and one was maybe halfway filled. Having two bowls in the same order look that different, is not ok.Again, I'm a former worker and I want others to know this is not what you should be getting for a $12 bowl Read more
