Reviews for Riccio's Italian Restaurant in Charlotte, NC
Unfortunately I am updating a previous 5 star review. Drastic drop in quality in a short span of time. Seems the main driver is... lack of help. Hope they can get back to the level they once were. Read more
Excellent Italian restaurant, service was over and beyond, all food was very good except the fettuccine with red sauce was... watery. Pizza was amazing and Alfredo pasta was perfect. Read more

I almost didn?t go in, it?s out of the way and a very humble exterior but it was amazing and so glad I did! Was traveling and... wanted a quant place to have a good meal and glass of wine. Great family atmosphere, the Chicken Marsala was so good. Love thatthe owner comes and checks on his patrons. Will definitely come again next time I?m in Charlotte. Read more
Traveling again and was looking for some Italian but not the "Garden". Stumbled upon this place doing a search close by and was... not disappointed!! I don't give out too many 5 stars but the food and the service won me over. We first got the cheese breadwhich is really a pizza with cheese herbs but no tomato sauce. It was also served with the marinara that was outstanding andcertainly homemade. We got it to go along with our main dish instead of just rolls. I had the lasagna and my daughter had thefettuccine Alfredo. My lasagna was literally still boiling when they brought it to the table. Lots of ricotta, great marinarameat sauce, and plenty of mozzarella on top. Very even flavor and not overpowering. Not spicy. The Alfredo sauce wasabsolutely wonderful! Very creamy and also tasted homemade. Not a place for the really young kiddos, but 10 and up would befine. I will certainly be back! Read more
Lovely place with history and style. Ive been meaning to come here for years, kept seeing the sign off 51. Glad we finally did.... Its a family owned business thats been around since 1962. They have authentic dishes and you can tell time and expertise haswent into each one over the last half century. We loved the pizza and the pasta! Well be back for sure! Read more
People always tell me to "try new places." Well I did. I LOVE lasagna, and ordered it from here to be delivered to my home. I... will say, the delivery was definitely fast, so no issues there. I was so excited to open and see how good the food looked. Iordered the lasagna and a caesar salad. The pasta comes with rolls, which were good. The salad was a salad. Nothing special, butnot bad at all. As for the lasagna? Lol. There were barely any noodles, and the noodles that were in there, were cut into thinstrips, and all stuck together. So I had thin cut pasta, stuck together on maybe, less than half of the dish. The rest was justsauce and cheese. I didn't even finish the lasagna because even with there being almost no pasta, the flavor wasn't good. About45 minutes later was when the real pain came. I was up until 5am with the WORST heartburn I have ever had in my life. I thoughtI was gonna die. All of that for almost $40? Never again. NEVER!!! Read more
