The restaurant itself and the customer service was great! I struggled whether or not to write this review but the food left alot... to be desired. I ordered a jerk plate and to my suprise I received what looked like smoked chicken with no seasoning. On theside in a little "dressing" container was some sort of mild thin sauce. Definitely not jerk. The portion was very small for $16.I usually go to Island Cuisine but they were getting ready to close. The sides(rice&peas, yams and cabbage) was just OK. Nottraditional carribean tasting food. Please take a look at your food if you are ordering to go. Read more
Ox tails were phenomenal. Generous portion as well. Although they didn't have any of the sides I wanted I still enjoyed the... food. Read more
Got a $15 large curry chicken. The picture say it all.
Most unprofessional place I?ve ever been. I started calling at 11:30 when they opened to place a to go order. No one would... answer the phone. After calling several times I decided to just go up there thinking something must be wrong with the phone.WhenI arrived after 12:00 there was a worker in the back of the restaurant yelling to the top of his voice about a personal matteron the phone & just ignoring me as if I wasn?t there. I guess that?s why no one was answering the phone. Shortly after a womanarrived and said hello as she proceeds to go the the back & never came to take my order. I finally yelled out is someone goingto take my order and she finally comes up front & looks at me as if I?m crazy and tells me nothing is ready because they justopened & she doesn?t know when the food would be ready. I said you opened at 11:30 the food should?ve been ready then it?s nowafter 12:00 what do you mean nothing is ready? She repeated we just opened nothings ready. I was totally shocked & just left. Iguess I?m crazy for expecting the food to be ready when a restaurant opens. Read more

I teetered between rating Quidleys between a 3 and a 4 because we have a love hate relationship. Let me first say that the food... is absolutely delicious and they are within my top 3 Caribbean restaurants in the city; HOWEVER the customer service can be hitor miss and the wait times is just unheard of even with a call in order. I already know that if I call something in and theytell me 20 minutes to come in 40 and be prepared to still wait up to 10 minutes- I don?t know what that?s about, but the food isgood. The wait times existed pre-Covid so idk. My other gripe is how you can only get seafood on certain days if the cook isin- I?m assuming there is only one person there that cooks the seafood so if that?s what you desire and he?s not in, then you?renot getting it. Here recently, I ordered the butter shrimp and a side of Mac (double order) and the butter shrimp plate wasmouth watering, but that Mac and cheese was the scrappings from the bottom of the pan which was not cool- I wouldn?t serve thatand I wished I looked at it beforehand, because I wouldn?t have accepted it, but since I didn?t I just took it as alost. Absolutely visit because they do not disappoint on the tastiness of the food, but don?t be surprised about long waittimes. Read more
