I love this pizza place. The Buffalo chicken knots are also very good. One of my top 3 in Charlotte for sure.

I am a pizza freak. I'm from NJ & NJ. I worked in lots of pizzerias back in the day. I had their Mediterranean pizza & no lie,... it was the best pizza I've ever had. The thinnest crust ever. So delish ? Read more

UPDATE: Pure has turned an unfortunate corner and we no longer support this business, sadly. Their issues began during the... pandemic when they did not adapt well to takeout and it was extremely difficult to even place an order, and customer service wasnonexistent. We forgave them this because everyone was trying to adjust to the "new normal," but then the owner became unhingedon their social media with aggressive anti-mask rhetoric, and this is no longer a space where I feel comfortable. OLD REVIEW:My partner and I eat at Pure regularly and without fail, each time we spend the rest of the day raving about how d*mn good thisplace is! It?s my favorite oven-baked pizza in the city, by far. The ingredients are always fresh and flavorful and even thecrust is delicious?and that?s coming from someone who never eats the ?pizza bones.? The crust is so good that they give youinfused honeys to dip crust in, which is basically free dessert; I highly suggest the bourbon + chipotle honeys double-dipped.Besides the food, the staff here is always so sweet and friendly, this is truly a neighborhood gem. Thi review is definitely not to bash this restaurant or warm anyone not to go here. They have great pizza. This would be my... third time coming and im a little disappointed because i asked for a vegan version of their mushroom pizza (which is justswitching out the cheese, it?s something ive gotten before. This time it meant i didn?t want sauce? Who goes to a pizza placeand doesnt want sauce? Just writing a review so they do better with this. The pic shows a sauce i added at home. Read more

They've cut down table service, so you order up front at the door, then find a table where they'll bring out your food when it's... ready. There's lots of seating, but we chose to dine on the big patio outside that looks like it would be a nice place to hangout in the evening, with lights strung around. We tried a couple of the $12 each 10 inch "craft pizzas". The "Deconstructedpulled pork" was interesting, with the pork buried under melted cheese, and the whole thing topped with red cabbage slaw. Thesalty ham on the "Pure Country" overpowered the garlic and basil. But, the crusts were deliciously light and crispy, with chewyair pockets from the hot oven. There are also sandwiches and calzones on the menu, and drinks were limited to overpriced cannedsodas and bottled water in the fridge. Read more
