The most underrated restaurant in Charlotte. I discovered Poplar about 4 years ago and am always able to get a reservation and... park fairly easily nearby. The food and drinks are always excellent! Service is typically excellent, every once in awhile aserver will have a busy night but that is just the state of the service industry these days. If you go during the fall or springdefinitely sit outside so you can enjoy the string lights and the live music! Read more

Visiting Chatlotte on my wife’s birthday we went to the restaurant to relax. Soon as we walked in the door we rec a warm... greeting fr the staff. It was a birthday takeover, but they were not equipped for everyone. The service was slow, and the food was mediocre.... Reservations were made but it was like we were in the way. Some ladies had to go to the bar to order their drinks as the waiterswere slow and not attentive at all. Some guests also sent their food back.
