The food was a questionable experience (there's just no way that the beans I got were fresh, or even made yesterday. The chicken... was pretty good and even colored, the shrimp had 3-5 colors, the beans had a sour tomato sour taste. The customer service wasimpeccable. The young lady in the drive thru was so courteous and friendly! I appreciated her asking me was interested in the special, that... rarely happens today, so I have to make positive acknowledgement of that! And the chicken quality has never been below superb!They've never served me expired product and all items have been hot and fresh! Be proud that your staff is doing it right! This is the worst popeyes, although all of them in Charlotte are beyond terrible. But this is one is straight from hell.... Employees are insanely rude and mean for literally no reason. From the moment I order my food at the drive thru up until Ileave. Everytime, it?s something wrong with my order. Always missing something. There are times where I ask for sauce and eventell them I will pay for the sauce yet I still receive no sauce then they give me attitude when I come in to ask for it. Like??? Just do your job. So far, this is the best Popeyes location I've been to. The lobby was clean, the restroom didn't smell like sewage ( N. Tryon... location) and the employees acknowledged me as soon as I walked in. My food was hot and I didn't have to wait forever. Read more
I stopped by Popeyes today for a quick meal to take home, my order total $9.19. Now I?m not worried about $.81 but when I got to... the window to pick up my order I gave a $20 bill and was given back $10, I ask for my receipt and I asked the staff member am Icorrect that my order was $9.19 and he said yes I don?t have any change I should have told you that. I?ve worked in the area ofCustomer Service where I had to run a register and that till had to be correct at the end of the shift, they did not want you tohave under the amount nor did they want you to have over the amount so with all the banks that were open today where you couldgo and get change, tell me why this store does not have any change, why wasn?t that stated when placing the order also if youdon?t have any change what are you doing with the customers leftover change if you can?t give them? Giving 5 STARS for food about 3.5 STARS for SERVICE. A few weeks ago I ordered a large side of gravy no potatoes with my... order..NO PROBLEM. Tonight ordered a regular side of gravy no potatoes with my order and was told they couldn't do it. Iexplained the previous week and again they couldn't do it. So I asked for a regular potato gravy ONLY and they could charge methe regular price, again advised had to sale potatoes with the gravy. I advised I wanted gravy ONLY. I ordered three chicken sandwiches because that?s all they said they had! The fries at best were a half order and were harder... than a rock and almost broke a tooth. The sandwiches weren?t fresh and one of my sons couldn?t even eat his sandwich. Weordered two cokes and one was diet. 85% wasn?t eatable and they served four other people behind us but would open for us to geta refund!
