When the craving hits, you have to go! I'd been wanting Popeye's chicken and then coupons arrived, so I treated myself to lunch.... I hit the drive through at a good time, no wait, staff was friendly. Order was correct. I got the five-piece dinner ("two candine") so I'd have lunch for two days. The chicken was perfect. I got red beans and rice for both sides--my favorite. Thebiscuits were very good. I don't like a big, doughy biscuit. Thanks. Popeye's, for making my weekend a good one! Read more
South blvd store #1174 9/13/22 Worst customer service experience ever. After waiting 45 minutes to make my order cause it was... shift change. Then to be told. There is a wait for chicken. Order a 16 piece and got a 14 piece. Went back to da store n damanager won't come to the door. Finally a worker leaving came to da door wit a cigarette in her hand then put it in her mouth.Show my receipt. Worker came back with a box with only one chicken in it. I was so crossed I called customer support line. Notto mention. They have a sign in front the door saying (it only open to online orders and delivery) but yet I witness a deliverydriver come to pick up food and they won't answer the door. Read more
The two young ladies I experienced were very impressive! The one taking orders and the one at the cash window. These two where... professional and polite and I felt appreciated as a customer. It?s not that Chick-fil-A or any other restaurant is better than Popeyes but the level of customer service is what?s going to... hurt this place. This is my third time going to this location and I always try to get people the benefit of the doubt. Justlike your employees work hard and expect to get paid, people work hard for their money and CHOOSE where they want to spend it.Stop giving people attitude because they don?t want what YOU decide to give them. Telling a customer the frozen drink machine isslushy but it?s the same darn thing as the regular is insane. The lobby was so dirty it looked like it hadn?t been cleaned allday. Do better! Read more
It's been quite a while since I stopped bye this particular Popeyes restaurant, as I had moved to another part of Charlotte. I... was in the neighborhood, I was hungry and was not left disappointed. This particular crew was absolutely on point, from themoment that you passed through the entrance. Engaging, helpful and personable; from Alyssa at the counter, the cooks, shiftleaders and manager made sure that you were happy and taken care of. The restaurant was immaculate, both inside and out.Everything was handicap accessible and there was plenty of parking. Most importantly though, the food was fresh, hot and justthe right amount of crispiness in the chicken. The gravy for the mashed potatoes even had a nice little Cajun zip to it. Ugh. Back at it again with the chicken ???? sandwiches ????. The sandwich was so good - the first one... Do yourself a favor and... only get one, please. I?ve been to Popeyes a total of 3 times for the chicken sandwich and each time I?ve gotten 2 sandwiches.Don?t make my mistake ???? now I?m sick of their sandwich. But yeah, line moved quickly, tables were clean, and person at cashregister suggested that I get both the spicy sauce and the mayo.
