First time visiting Plant Joy and the experience was great!. I ordered the grilled greens and it did not disappoint will be... returning again! The ladies behind the counter we're super nice and took the time to tell me about the menu being my first time.Love the CBD Vybe drinks they have very tasty and a great addition to the meal. Great Vegan place just a tiny bit pricey. Two main entrees plus 1 appetizer 1 bottled drink with 15% tip set me back $50. Very... cozy area where you only sit outside. I love Plant Joy! They have wonderful, imaginative dishes. My husband loves the quiche and the yam and cheese sandwich. I love... that they have dishes you won't find anywhere else. The falafel sandwich is extremely generous in size and very good. Today Ihad the grilled greens sandwich and it was absolutely fabulous! The flavors are balanced so well. I love that they had Vibes drink (CBD)! Peach ginger is the best flavor. I had a few things since it was my first time. I only... enjoyed the grilled green sandwich!! That sandwich is 10 out of 10! Although I didn?t like anything else on the menu for thesandwich alone I would go back. On a hot summer Sunday afternoon in CLT . I just left a painful but yet relaxing sports massage. Self Care Sunday wouldn?t have... been completed without taking a detour into Camp North End for a delicious yet healthy vegan spot . You know I had to get thepancakes to satisfy my brunch vibes. My favorite vegan restaurant in all of Charlotte (and the most underrated). Everything that we've tried here is phenomenal and... fresh. The flavor pairings are unconventional but delicious and innovative. The smoked hummus is the best hummus I've ever had.I cannot recommend this place enough! Read more
This is what I opened my box to when I got home from ordering; a 3 minute drive from the place. The falafel was cold, the dip... was old and cold. The pita was hard. I called to kindly ask for money back and was rudely told that the boxes don?t hold heatso that why the food is cold. The food was ice cold. When I describe the taste and look, I was then told that I didn?t knowvegan food. I?ve been vegetarian for 8 years and transition to vegan/plant base in year 6. After I kindly ask for my money backone more time after their explanation, I was told again, rudely, to never come back to the place since I could not comprehendscience. As a Black vegan teacher (history) and school leader (asst. principal), I felt not listen to and was gaslighted whenall I wanted was to visit NC and eat at a vegan restaurant. I will not return to plant joy on my own accord and not because Iwas rudely asked to not. Overall, all I wanted was a refund for the food and service I deemed underwhelming and rude. I haveyet to see my refund as of now. I will ensure I get it though. Read more
