I had takeout here months ago and it was really good. But this past time over Thanksgiving weekend, the pho broth was off. I had... ordered vegan- but the broth smelled rotten and was dark (instead of golden) in color. I poured it down the drain. My son saidthe spring roll sauce was the worst he’s ever had- so I smelled it and it was rancid. I think they may be having major qualityissues- I would normally hesitate to give one star but after that experience I am worried someone might get food poisoning. :( Read more

Please don't let servers or cooks work when they are sick. I came in one evening for dinner. After placing an order I noticed... the waitress coughing her lungs up and spitting into a trash can in front of me. I wanted to walk out but order was placed. Ididn't want to be rude and thought it had to be smokers cough. Aint no way they would allow someone this sick work as awaitress/hostess. I was so wrong. Lesson learned. A Couple days later I'm too sick to work, my 2 yr old is sick and so is therest of my family. I'm very disappointed. I will no longer be a patron. Read more

Edit November 5th: If you normally order from here make sure you check the menu. They changed a lot, prices went up and do not... offer the stir fry veggies anymore. If you like onions, protein and rice; this is the place for you. A year ago: I absolutelylove this little restaurant tucked away in Ayrsley Town. The Vietnamese food here taste as authentic as it can get. The staffhere are extremely sweet and welcoming. Even if your meal doesn't please you they're quick to make you feel as your dollar isworth the correction. I love dining in or taking it to go and the prices are extremely responsible. If you're looking for agood Asian dish give this little place a try. It'll be sure to blow your mind. Read more

Idk why this place has a 4.2 but it deserves more. I’ve eaten at almost every vietnamese resturuant in charlotte and I’ve... gotten the pho dav biet special everytime. Pho Ngon gives you more meat that you can ask, the broth is delicious, and the meatto noodle ratio is perfect. it’s $16 for a large pho dac biet bowl here. Every other vietnamese joint charged a little cheaperbut their meat, noodles and broth never filled me up the way pho ngon does. I’ve been here multiple times already while nevergoing back to the other places. I can get an avacado smoothie and large pho here for $23 which is a deal compared to the otherplaces I’ve eaten at. I usually won't bother reviewing when dissatisfied, but I have time, since I am still waiting for my food. Place an order at... 720p, order ready for 749p. Came, picked it up. Drove home. Half of the order missing. Tried to call the number on Google... faxmachine. Went back. Arrived at 816pm l, had to wait 20 minutes for the food to be made. 1 Pho. Food is good, and I wish that wasenough. Read more

They really need to work on their service. It took them 20 minutes to even take our order and we waited two hours for our pho.... They were working on orders that were for pickup when the customers were there already to pick up their order. They did not waitfor us to finish requesting for basic things before walking away. While we were here they weren't busy, and only had 4 tablesoccupied but it still took them two hours to serve us. The food is alright as well. Not worth the price. The pho noodles wereover cooked because they were way too soft which caused them to be choppy and short. Our bowl of pho barely had meat and weordered the combination pho. They had no basic condiments on the table such as soy sauce, fish sauce, chili oil, salt and blackpepper, we had to ask for these things. They did not have napkins, spoons, or forks at the table either. Their bathroom wasreally disgusting and should have been kept up with through out the day. There was a lot of trash on the floor, their oneworking toilet was full and dirty and it was extremely hot and humid throughout the restaurant. I wouldn't recommend this placeunless you are desperate. Read more

I was so excited to try this restaurant but I digress. It was a horrible experience. First, let’s start with the no refund... policy. Red flag! The food was cold. My husband called and they said to come back. We live 5 minutes away LITERALLY. They saidthe food was made to order. Impossible. If there is hot food in a bag then there would be moisture present. There was none. Wewere really nice about it when we called. They had also forget shrimp on his order of chicken vermicelli. The noodles for thePHO were over cooked. The limes were dry or either old. Lastly, they served spring rolls that were not deveined. Disgusting. Imiss Mr. Pho because they were super clean and the food was superior. Finally, the manager or owner was defensive about ourVALID complaints. She said she would issue a refund. I hope she does that right thing. Read more
